Need Advice On Early Miss Autoflower no flower.

This is my very first grow ever. I am a Newbie. I was going to post in the Newbie section but decided to go to the Auto-Flowering section. IF I have made a mistake posting here, I'm sorry. It is sometimes difficult to Newbies to figure out where to post.

They are Early Miss Autoflowers.

This plant along with three others have been in a 2x4x6 tent with constant 600w grow veg lights for a bit over 2 months. I did not do light cycles. They are planted in a super soil mix, and I have fed nutrients ever so often, about every 2 days. Nutrients were Grow, Micro, and Flower. The ph is a bit high, about 8. Even with ph down it was difficult to get it past 9. I check the ph of the water (with or without nutrients) and bring it down to 4 before watering.......still can't get it below 8.

I do see that some leaves are yellowing, not quit sure why. Might be nutrient burn, but I've been pretty lean on the nutrients.

The tall one just keeps growing and has overpower the runt of the seedlings. The other 3 (including the runt) are flowering. Should I top the tall one? Should I run a 12/12 light cycle to try to make the tall one flower? I'm aware Auto's don't need the 12/12 cycle. Or should I chop the tall one down and let the little runt do it's thing?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey I'm also a newbie I just joined 30 mins ago I also dont know where to post to ask questions.this is my first grow as well...I see your growing autos ans early miss at that...are those seeds from crop king? If so that's your problem right there my candy cane and early miss outdoors diddnt start to flower till 2 months of growth basically mid August when the days got shorter and all the photo periods turned too.also I had hermies in my candy cane and had to toss 2 of them so they didn't pollinate my other plants..so ya if your seeds are crop king that would be my guess cause I had the same issue but what do I know I'm a newbie Haha.good luck

Yes, it is very difficult to know where to post as a Newbie. Yes, they are from Crop King. Where do you get your seeds from?

For the last 4 years ( outdoor grows only) I was going crop king as it was the only option in a small town without ordering online.now that it's legal I'm not paranoid to order online.theres thousands of companies out there but ordering from Europe or the u.s they may get snatched up by customs but it's worth it imo.i live in n.b canada.613 genetics.dr green thumb.canadian genetics.dna genetics.lumberjack seeds ( my personal favorite) and I could go on sweet seeds. True north seeds ..montreal canabis seeds.sensi seeds. quebec seeds.....oh and I believe crop king changed names or bought another company and are going by sonoma seeds.dont quote me on that mabee someone else reading this can elaborate on that but ya stay away from sonoma seeds too I do believe...

Crop King is notorious for bad auto's. I've seen a ton of grow journals where they don't auto. Bad breeding practices I would assume. If you don't properly clean your breeding room it's easy for stray pollen to stick around and pollinate your auto's with photo genes.

You have a bit of a crazy situation on your hands. You have 3 plants in 1 pot, and to make matters worse it looks like only 2 are auto's.
So, I guess if this was me, here is what I would do.

I would check your ph pen or test strips. I think you have some bad ones. You want to PH down your plants to about 6.2 to 6.5 in soil, if it's coco I think it's 5.8 to 6.0.

Now, the bigger problem, what to do with that 3 plant 1 pot mess. I would give the 2 auto's another week or 2 and chop early. The big plant is cutting off their roots and starving them out. You're not going to get much off them anyway by the looks of it. This gives you another 2 weeks to figure out if the big one is going to smarten up. I would suspect at the point it wont auto and needs 12/12.

If the big one was my plant I would at the least top her, and tie her down like crazy. You're going to have to get bendy with her. Look up some guides on LST and Super Cropping.

It's scary bending branches the first time, Just remember to breath and keep thinking to yourself, how tall can I really let her get. Because she is going to double in size once you switch to 12/12.

Thank you so much for the information and I appreciate you taking the time in responding. I will certainly take note.

I used CropKing cuz well hell I didn't know where to get seeds and I was very paranoid. I live in a barnyardassed backward State, but my paranoidness has subsided..... Am going to investigate further. This crop was from seeds that were order a year ago. Took me forever to afford and get the proper equipment. I don't know good sources for seeds but will investigate on here soon. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

I've also started a 12/12 light cycle to see if I can make that big one pop.

There's actually only 2 in that pot, looks like three cuz I trained the runt outward. I have a light further down now to help it achieve something. I reposted this in another area and got some good info.

Yes, I was thinking of topping her.....I'm not too scared of bending anymore. I've watched some training videos and 'for me' I find them easier to bend when they are kinda bigger....slowwww and steady.

Got some greybeard private label northern lights. Pack of 3. One didnt sprout. One is done. And one showed no signs of flowering until almost 70 days after sprouting and yes its big now but it was a runt with literally two leaves for a month lol if it were still illegal i would have killed that plant a long time ago. Im trying some fastbuds now hoping to find more stable genetics and all i can say at this point is that fastbuds has a way better germination rate than greybeards. Only about half the greybeards will sprout. I just put 15 fastbuds seeds in water 48 hours ago and 14 of them already have tails. I think a lot of breeders are still trying to stabilize the auto starins. I have a lot of experience with photos but since ive been growing autos its been a constant learning experience

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Welllllll, I only have my small grow tent set up. Currently the tall beyatch is sitting in basement under fluorescent light. I need to get my 4x4 set-up and start some new chit rollin.

HI ZOGS !!!! How are you? I haven't been on for awhile. Back issues, well....tending to back issues, found a fantastic physical therapist, and about a month ago had a RF Nerve Ablation on my lower three nerve roots. I've also been taking my 'medicine.' I've been busy CLEANING HOUSE and my art studio, and outside work. Because of my back my house hasn't had a good cleaning for THREE years I'm ashamed to say. But it's getting it NOW !!!

Well first I gotta grow these babies that I already have seeds for:

1.) White Widow - Auto Flower Fem (5Seeds) x 1 x $60.00
2.) Early Miss - Auto Flowering Fem (5Seeds) x 1 x $55.00
3.) Amnesia Haze - Auto Flower Fem (5Seeds) x 1 x $60.00

They are from Crop King. First I gotta put up my 4x4, the little tent 2x4 really only has enough room for two plants. But since my basement leaks a bit, I wanna build heavy duty platforms for the tents and put LOCKING wheels on the platform. MORE WORK. HA !!!

I'll keep the breeds you mentioned in my notes though.

Thanks JGrizz for taking the time to reply. Plant looks great !!!! I'm still learning something new every day. This current grow has taught me a LOT. So has input on this forum. I learned a lot of basics from youtube.

See.......'they say' to keep the lights on 24. I don't agree with this based on my results. I've got to take new pics.....I think autoflowers need a break like you suggested. I'll try your schedule next grow.

Only going to point out you said this was your FIRST grow so don't let your 1st time results make up you're mind for you. Mephisto who is easily the top auto BREEDER at the moment, not just crosses a photo and auto and sells bunk s1/f1 seeds uses 24 hours of lights for their plants. You should read and i investigate more before you're next grow and with all you learn do even better. Good luck on the first grow as it's always the hardest.

I wouldn't sweat the light schedule to much on your next auto grow, I think it's pretty strain dependent on what each plant like better.
I do both depending on the season, 24/7 in winter when I need the heat from the lights and 20/4 in summer. I notice some of my plants like nap time, and others it doesn't matter, but the difference in the end result is negligible. I believe they condition themselves and learn what ever light cycle you give them. I actually find it rather interesting how they know when lights out is, you will see them start to droop an hour or so before the lights shut off.

That beyatch is out of the tent and actually LIVING under a fluorescent light...one of the lights in the basement. Maybe I'll make a house plant out of her.....hmmmmmmm.........:lol::lol::lol:

MATTYMATT726 thanks for the advice and the response. STUDY AND READ MORE? Good gawd, I've watched tons of youtube videos, thank gawd for youtube RED. Do you have any suggestions of where to acquire correct knowledge. Do you have any youtube influencers to suggest. Am starting to follow more people on here, which is a good thing.

Thanks for the supplier suggestion, I'm done with CropKing. But I have about 12 more seeds from them.....

Yep, my first grow.....and HECK no I'm not giving up !!!! After I think the two little but budding EarlyMiss are done growing, am setting up my 4x4 tent too. I'm in the planning stage of that. But I still am going to keep with autoflowers.........until I get more edumakated through advice, trial and error, and just the whole process of it all.

Thanks for responding Sowiteverywhere. I don't have the patience to do photos. Maybe after awhile with autos I'll try some photos.......Thanks for the reference on seed source, will be interesting to see how that turns out.

Yep.....constant learning......I know one of my mistakes was not keeping a grow journal. Time has this odd way of contorting memory of what we did. Gotta pull out the SCIENTIFIC chit !!!!!!
