Need Advice on Selecting a Strain

Hi,

I am looking at selecting a new strain that would best fit my needs. So anyone with any recommendations please post.

I would like a strain that has most or all of these qualities: (* indicates an important quality)

Works well in SOG, with an Ebb and Flow setup.

* Has reliable genetics, so that I don't end up with hermies/large percentage of males.

Something tried and true, I don't want a very new strain that has only been grown by the breeder, I would like recommendations from real people with nothing to gain.

* It is potent, in the sense that while it doesnt have to have a high THC %, it should have a high THC to weight of the bud %.

The potency is also important as THC tolerance is a concern.

Medicinal qualities, that would ease or relieve social anxiety. (A bit dependent on the person, but suggestions none the less.)

The taste comes second to potency, but if given a choice between identical potency strains, I would like something fruity or tropical. Don't particularly like the earthy, piny, or hashy taste.

Hope its not too complicated. Thanks in advance for all replies.

I should add, the price of the strain is of no concern at all to me. If top notch bud is gonna cost me 50$ + per seed to grow, I'm willing to pay it.

LMFAO, sorry, I guess you didn't read my question correctly. I don't wanna hear what the seedbanks have to say, as they will say anything to sell their seeds over another seedbank. I want an honest opinion from someone who has nothing to gain. For the record, I have looked at the seedbanks, they are misleading and their are far too many of them, and you would have to be retarded to not check out the seedbanks before posting a thread like this.

This site should help a little:

Best thing you can do IS find a strain that sounds good from the seed bank's description, THEN google the name of the strain. You will come up will a LOT of independent grow reviews.

It literally took me *months* to research and decide on a couple of strains...worth it though. Also when you are looking, if you see a strain that won a cup 10 years ago, you can be pretty sure the strain is stable.

Tried that, I have also been looking for months going on a year now. Any specific strain you would recommend?
