@Neto, i've read this thread 2x and I can't tell how many of those 1800w fixtures you have. Do you have 1 fixture or 3?

Use the power consumption wattage (320) to estimate if u have enough lights, not the wattage in the light name (1800).

ok. 960/42.5 sf =22.6 watts per sf. thats a bit weak for the whole area. At 30 watts per sf, you need 1275 watts of light. get another 300-400 watt light (power consumption) before you flower, and move forward with what u have. make adjustments later.

Good stuff. Yeah can always get it later. Would you think with her model, 40 watts /sqft would be more ideal? I can see getting away with 30watts /sqft with a high end white spectrum light, like the ones posted above.

i dont know....but the ad for that 1800watt light said it was full specturm. too bad they didn't ID the actual cobs they used. My preference for the additional light would be an HLG because they use the lm561c, and they have better lm output per watt than the cobs... but shipping to nz would be pricey.

Ikr. But hey I'm sure they will do the job just nicely. I mean I run a blurple Cree and osram light and it does nicely along with my other DIY lights I use. I only run (2) 2x2s for my needs

i've seen a grow in a 7x7 with a shitty low end 1000 mh that pulled 1.3 lbs and was chopped 2-3 weeks early...that was ~20 w/sf, so she should do fine with what she has and the extra light for flowering

Thanks guys for all the advice been really helpful. Trying to not get dicked by sales people from grow shops etc. Has anyone had any experience ordering LEDs off Alibaba.com?

Also once my seeds have sprouted I put all the lights on about 20 cm away from them right?

.€ u is stronger 1€ is 1.22$

I like that far red monos around it..
Sorry, it's still a rip-off. A single 3590, even pre-assembled with a heatsink and wiring, should NOT cost that much. Also, the Mars Hydro light you linked is 100w, yet they claim it's good for a 2.5'x2.5' space. That's just pure, unadulterated bullshit. Perhaps some of our European members can provide a better alternative...

Im from EU too. I have a Mars light, I used it, I wouldnt get anything else of that kind of light.
If you don't want to pay for a QB get a HPS setup instead of that crap Mars, Vipar, etc.

From inside EU you can buy Citizen 1212 (gen6) for 10eur/pc

I think we are looking at them really different..I see that light as single cob (so for one plant) but with added far red for flowering. That is so interested to me..They give u 2 light in one light..
I have already 4 dingle cobs lights, one for each girl..It would be interesting to put that cob in middle ..
