Need advice! Time to flower?

So I have two plants that appear to be female growing in my closet right now. They are in a 9x9 box right now and I have been gradually lowering the lights to 12x12. I have them at 15 hours on and 9 hours off. I water them daily.

This is my first plant:

This one has not been topped yet. The picture on the right is the same plant zoomed in. I'm wondering about the little leafs at the main stem. Is that good or bad? Also, this plant is a 5-leaf. What does that indicate?

This is plant number two:

This one has been topped. I'm seeing similar types of small leafs on the main stem. This plant is a 7-leaf.

How do my plants look? Any suggestions/advice/comments are greatly appreciated!

If you are an indoor grower, you may not have the space available to let your plants run their normal course, as they do in nature.

Many people Flower early (stressor) even before the plants reach their sexual maturity and show pre flowers.

If you need to flower early here is something you can reference. Move your light to it's very highest position (The sun is infinity) measure the distance between the dirt and the bottom of your light. Divide this distance by 3 and that is the rough height of your plants when you start to flower. Now indoors you don't want them too tall any ways so don't go overboard. Artificial light does not penetrate as well as natural.

??

yeeeaaahhh...

in a nutshell man.. you can flower any time you want.

You can do 12/12 from seed if you so prefer to do so.

It's all up to you.. some people don't seem to get it.

When growing indoors.. YOU.. the grower, control EVERYTHING.

You control the plants environment.. and the plants life.

That shouldn't even be a question really.. "When can I flower my plants?"

Because like I said.. its all up to you.. as to when you want to flower your plants (indoor growing only).

Outdoors is a whole `nother ball game. Outdoors, mother nature takes control.. and decides with seasons.. when your plant will flower.

anyhow, I hope this opened up your mind a little bit.

peace and good luck!

You shouldnt be watering your soil daily. The roots need time to breathe and search for water, rather than having water dumped on them every day. Every 3 days is normal, depending on what your soil consists of and how big the pot is.
