Need Advice with Bulbs and Ballast setup....please advise...

I have a 10'x12' shed. I want to get two of these, 1000w hybrid dual core bulbs HiLux Gro - Grow Light - Horticulture - USHIO

Should I get a dual bulb reflector like this? Hydrofarm - Hydrofarm GR51600 Growzilla (Dual Bulb Reflector, LGCKT2, Lens & Hardware)

Or should I get two separate reflectors so that I can spread the light around more?

I have no idea on what ballast to get for these bulbs. Will somebody please pick one of these for me? Hydrofarm - Grow Light Ballasts

If i were you, i would go with 3 600w lights. The light can be spread and used more effiecently. Do a little reading and youll find that 600watters are about the best light. Get 3 600w's. But, if you dont do that defiantly get 2 seperate reflectors.

In the papers that came with our lights it says it will cover a 8'x8' area i believe, it might be 12x12 hmmm. Ill tell you for sure tonight. Of course as you raise it up it covers more but its not as strong. Lower it and its stronger but covers less. You know that im sure.

1000w hps will cover 8x8 nicely.
i've found that 10 plants grown in 3 gal pots ea. fits into about that space. that gives them some wiggle room, that is to say branches touching but not overlapping.
unless you prune to one single standard cola with little side branching. then i suppose you could cram pots toe to toe, but i don't. i'm too worried about mold and mites.

i'll soon post pix of my own project. currently there are 10 four ft female wh. widow and blueberry in 3 gal pots and they are in their 2nd wk of flowering, today i'll spring for a CO2 setup

cool, youll well make it back. your set up looks really cool, wish i had the space. but ill just have to wish . i have a garage but the cars not in it, but i breed dogs and they take space, and the bikes, kids stuff ect, just havent the space, ive no space. and one of the houses we own, and rent out, the people who live in it, got busted, over a falling out,i dont know these people, and the cheeky fuckers were growing weed in my celler, they were fans everywere, empty plant food, and foil all over the walls. the people looked like butter wouldnt melt, the cheeky bastards, ive asked em to leave by the end of the month, i mite use it, lol only kidding, its on top there now.

sometimes if you want something done right you just gotta do it your damned self but your rented place is probably on some list some where, i wouldn't grow there

Sorry about that. I have had some bad renters before. I 'm real careful who I rent out to now. What about a garden shed? They are pretty good. Let me know what you think.
