i mean i know about that...but that set up has everything i should need correct??? as far as the light and hood and timer and all that right ???????

yea look nice for one plant .. would be hard to fit two Im sure .. then rather grow one nice plant wher you dont have to go 12/12 from day one .. maybe Veg for 3-4 weeks with the MH .. then switch to the HPS and flower ..

and yea seems to have it all ..

then you only need a ventilation and carbon filter ..



sumthing like that .. tho I bet the smallest model (120-140$ish) would be enough ..


to provide fresh air/co2 for the girl (grow Femi seed with only one plant .. sucks to find out its a male after 4 weeks)

and to controle temperture in the small space with 150W MH/HPS

and to controle odour .. so your hole room/house dont stink ..


and also a littel clip on fan in ther at the lamp .. to cool it down is a good idea .. maybe buy two and keep one at the plants (not directly at em tho)

then you have it all .. cept pot and a grow media and seed and nutriens ..



I would consider to grow a Auto Femi seed in a small closed with that light .. 14 days with the MH then HPS for 6-8 weeks then haverst .. 1-2 oz I reccon some one could hope for ... dependin on how nice of a job you do .. .. short time also mean less problems .. maybe use coco to grow in .. do some research ..

you have to get a ventalation and carbon filter ?????? thats alot more cash more than the lights and stuff???? what do those do exactly ?????

i would step up to a 250 watt light

what do you think happens to a plant when you put it in a closed with a 150W MH/HPS lamp ?

tell me what is your room temps .. for staters ?

lets say you have a nice 72-74F .. then I bet after a few hrs in the closed your MH/HPS will have cooked anything allive in ther with temps on +90ish

also .. please do some research .. and try to think logical .. its a plant .. its need air and co2 to grow .. a few hrs with no fresh air and high temps and you can trow your 10$ seedling out ..

and when it starts to flower it will smell .. stink ... even one small plant will .. try to imagen how it would smell if you did empty a 2 oz bag of weed on your table .. then think fresh weed .. with fan leaves and strems aso ..

you realy need to do some research ..

if your creativ ... and it is only a 150W .. you could maybe go with a DIY cheap 4" bathroom ventilation from walmart (15$) and some cooker replacement filters from walmart (10$ each) need some tubeing aswell .. might be enough .. enough for fresh air Im sure .. odour might also be ok .. might need two filters ? just a idea I had and I do want to help you .. specialy if money is short .. but you do need sumthing ..

about heat Im not so sure .. you will atlest also need a fan at the lamp to cool it down and blow the hot air away from the plant tops ..

Hey bud! That set-up looks good for your budget. The ballast is UL listed and that is VERY IMPORTANT! With only one plant you really don't need a filter unless you have really close neighbors. You can also go to Walmart and get a cheap air purifier $40-50 and it will take care of the flowering odor.

i think if you keep your canopy height short and closer to the lights you'll be danky in 8 weeks or so...low wattage for sure. pick an indica that takes lower light. LST your plants if you have to to keep the height regular and consistant.
