need cloneing advice

can you take cuttings of budding plants?? i have taken some cuttings of the bottom of the plant where there is very little bud (there aint even a sprinkle of bud). i cut them of a week and 2 days ago and still no roots showing usually when i take cuttings the roots start to show after a week. the cuttings are still standing upright do you think these will work and grow proparly and still produce good yeild???? i have never taken cuttings of a budding plant.. please give me your advice.

Yes you can it will just take longer for the cutting to root..

it just takes longer to revert back into vegatative growth. at least your not cloning males like some poor bastid i read about

yes you can take clones from budding lady's..... it does take longer then normal cloning for roots but usually not much..... i did a buncha HSS clones trying to save the strain, took 6 clones from all over them but only the 2 lowest branches rooted, and those 2 are presently 2' high becoming new Moms........

i must also say, i did that in an aero cloner with fresh proper clones too, it took bout 2-4 days longer for them to root then the fresh veg clones, but all 6 rooted, only the 2 survived after hitting soil... i found it helps if ya top the budded clones, foarce fresh shoots, get rid of the top old ones...

if ya look at my grow like, last page, in the veg lady's the 2 small ones in the middle are them, and they are comin along awsome....

sound for all ya post . thats stop me worrying. your crop look all good epixbud will it effect the yeild taking of buding plants?

no, they'll be true clones, and the moms had big yield too......only time is all thats affected, as long as ya take lower younger fresh looking shoots...

Yea they will take a little longer to get back into the vegging mode put them in a cloneing room on 24 hours of light for the first 2/3 week then put them down to 18/6 off depending on how fast you need the clones .I have took clones 5 week in and still have the plnt months on infact she is now the mother .but if possible try not to let this happen too often.

the cuttings have rooted through the rockwool now they have been under 24 hour light for a week and half. i had to take these of the budding plant because i forgot to feed the others and they died and ive never took them of budding plant before. now tho the stress is over thanks to you all. The cuttings i took of the plant that was budding, i went to the bottom of the plant were there was very little bud and i took them from there so i think i will be alrite on this one with a bit of luck.
