need decent ph meter !!!

Hey all, as the title says , im in need of a decent ph meter. something under $100 would be nice. tired of the strips want to be more precise.

Ditto. I have a blue lab ph meter and it is just awesome, calibration isnt a pain like it is on the cheapi units wuth the screws plus it tells u when it needs to be done qnd if u did it correctly.
All this talk just gave me the urge to check my ph! Lol
 
If you don't want to spend a crap load of money on the Blue Lab, you can get a Milwaukee brand PH pen and temp meter. I've used them for a few years with no problems. You can get replacement probes easily. I've found brand new pens for under $50 and the replacement probes for less than $30 just by using Google search. They are inexpensive, but good quality. Isn't the Blue Lab up to $200? What do the replacement probes go for?
 
I bought eZITools brand ph metre from my hydro shop not online... does the job perfectly and cost me $40 with 2 years warranty.
Blue Lab is great, but its expensive. Espeacially if your new to growing, you dont need to buy top of the line stuff, you just need a half decent ph metre.
Once your grows are going well and all, then you can think about spending $150+ on a high tech flash ph metre.
My $40 ph pen reads jus as accurate as my mates $180+ Blue Lab pen....
Each to their own really, but if you think about it theres no real need to spend $$$ on your first ph pen.

bluelab ph pen on ebay goes for 70ish....the blue lab ppm/ph combo meter is around 200.
 
Go for the best bro, blue lab ph meter they are about $100 and if you get the cheap ones they are sure to fuck up on you and cost you a lot of money.

Careful with EZ meter its cheap crap and will fail within a year. You get what you pay for. Ive been ph'ing water and nutes for that long i know exactly how much ph down to put in without a meter to get 6.5 (soil) and my plants are green top to bottom. In time you will be able to do this to, it saves so much time and fart assing around.
