Need experianced advice no bs!!

Hi I'm midnight:eyesmoke:,
First i would like to say that this is the most amazing wealth of knowledge and have spent days reading and learning. The first thing i have truely learned is that reading and doind are two completely differant things! Second im sort of new to this whole thing so i would like to get and give GOOD advice to all new growers NO BS please.
So the first pics are of an ez cloner i built. It is a 15 site with ten 360degree sprayers attached to a 164 gal. an hour pump in an eighteen gal. tub.
The next pics are of three clones grown in dirt, Purple Kush, Train Wreck, and Northern Lights. I want to grow these up into mama plant so i put them in a soil mixture i bought from the local grow shop called Just Right Xtra.
The last pics are of four fresh clippings i put in the ez cloner. The 2 on either side are Skunk #1 the bottom is White Castle and the one on the top is an auto flowering plant i got as an extra.
This is all the other info i can think to put if there is anything else you need to know please feel free to ask. I have all 7 under a 4ft. 6 bulb T5 HO that puts out 30,000 lumins and 324 watts (54 per bulb). I have the light at about 6inches from the plants with a small 6inch fan facing upwards on the light to cool everything down. I also have a thermometer / berometer and the temp ranges from 80ish in the day to 70ish at night and the humidity stays at about the mid 60%.
Now for all the questions. I figure the light is at an ok distance because to my understanding you cannot burn with a T5. I have not had a chance to check the PH level how quick can or will this become a problem? Will the T5 be able to suport 7 plants untill veg, then it will only be three mamas? The 4 clippings are looking a little droopy and yellowish on the leaves but i read that this is due to the plant replacing energy from the leaves to grow new roots. The three in dirt are looking a little droopy also, the leaves every day are getting a little more yellow, ie last pic is the northern light leaf, i believe this is due to over watering if you think otherwise please let me know.
Thanks for reading and I am looking forward to getting and giving all types of great advice and tips, remember no BS.

Hey midnight. I'm glad you are taking the first steps to becoming a farmer!! I'm kind of a noob too and my plants are having some of the same problems as yours. I really look forward to hearing some veteran input.

I have 12 OG Kush under the 8bulb T5 with a homemade aero bucket, check out my sig.
A bad Ph will let you know in a few hours when the leaves start to droop.

That color green needs to be left in La-La land, please dont use it again, my eyes hurt :-)

well not sure on the cloner i never had anything droop in mine whats the on/off time on the pump?
the yellowing is a lack of nutes, give the soil plants a bit to adjust to soil and soak up some nutes then hit them with low dose veg fert.
clear cups are no good you want to keep light out of your roots.
the soil plants look over watered
your t5s are fine for 7 all the way through veg if you don't go to big
if the leaves touch the bulbs they will burn
try to knock the temps down a bit 75 day and 65-60 night works best for me
the humidity is ok for now if you keep alot of air moving but you need a plan for flowering or you will get mold
sorry for the rant just tryin to help

stupid clown thanks for the input the more you rant the more i learn. First i would like to start by saying that they will only be in the cups for the weekend untill i get them in the buckets. Which i am in argument with my partner on the size he wants to use 5 gal. n i want to use more like 12 any input? next i was told by the grow shop worker and another grower not to put nutes in the soil im using for a while due to whats in it. i will try to get the temp down does anyone think the temp will drop enought by putting in a dehumid.? Jesus thanks for the input i also think its a PH problem. any input into how long they can take a 7.0 PH because i cannot get PH down for another 24 hrs n its been 24 hrs.

well what lights are you using 12gal is huge. under floros for a mother most go 5 but kept small and trained you can do 3.
ok i don't know your soil thats why i said give them a bit it soak up nutes.
7 is not that bad but if you get hard up you can use vinagar or lemon juice
also get some dolomite lime for your soil it helps buffer your ph
the dehumidifier may drop the temp enough depends if its new or old and how big your space is. my old 80's POS iced up and dropped the temp 5-10
oh go to youtube and search global buckets. i'll be putting my mother in one its like an earth box and those did well for me

I have a 4' 8bulb T5 which puts of 40,000 lumens. I vedged 6 plants in 3 gallon pots under there just fine (to about 10 inches). The canopy was only about 2 inches away from the bulbs, which requires you move the light every day. My internodal space was less than an inch on all 6, which includes a sativa dominant super lemon haze. These T5 ballasts put out a bunch of light, but I would not use them on tall mother plants. All my flowers and my tomato starts didn't miss a beat when they were put out into full sun from under the lights. Hope my experience helps.

AK49th i will be willing to sell clone when ready if our intersted let me know

medmary thanks for the input. as far as tall mothers im learning a type of bonzi type of prunning that is suppost to keep the size down dramatically i will post the link when i find it again

To all others keep posting i love the iinfo

I have a lighting question, and yes I am a noob. I have 2 4ft flouros(40watts,5000k,96cri each) and 2 42 watt cfl's. is this enough lighting for 1 plant during the veg state or should i use my 150 watt HPS which is on its way for both veg+flower, Any help would be awsome. This is my first indoor grow

You really shouldn't jack someones thread for your own questions, start a new one or do some research of past topics.

That is more than enough light for one plant during veg.

Its all good.

For your question though more lumens is always better. If you feel like you need another light and can afford it, get one.

I dont know how much water you have in the cloner, but I can tell you Ide put more in there (you may have and that pic was only from a demonstration, but I can tell you that my experience with submersible pumps... which I have years of is that your going to get better pressure... save on watts and you'll not run the chance of letting the pump run dry... I top off my DWC daily due to evap, I see that you cut a hole in side so I understand if you can only go so high but the more water the better... IMO

coast : thanks for the input yes i do run more water now that there are plants in there but im having a problem with the tub feeling slimy is this something normal? if its not the only way i have been able to fix it is to change out the water and scrub the tub and that is putting to much stress on the cuttings. is there a organic chemical or any other way to fix this?

too all my other readers its been a few days and everything looks good no more drooping i will post some pics in a day or two
