fuckin' a man rock on. What kind of layout do you use for aero? buckets tubes HP? C02? I tried aero for a while and seen amazing results. Couldn't keep my ez cloner to pop consistantly and gave it up.

Ebb/Flow systems are so forgiving I will never grow any other way now. I use rockwool slabs and cubes, no muss no fuss. I manually water instead of using pumps, but you can do either. My 3 foot slabs get cut into three and used that way in a rubbemraid conntainer. Easy/pezy., under a 600 watter one plant will put out 14-21 zips.

I have a table set up diy style that cost about 100 bucks minus lighting mind you that was built for a closet grow but can be expanded upon to encompass your size of room.

Good luck and pm me if your intrested in more info.
NICE MAN!!!ANY PICTURES???
I WANNA HAVE A 2 TOTE SET UP FOR MY SPACE.
1 TOTE(14GAL) USED FOR THE REZ. AND THE OTHER TOTE (10GAL) FOR THE FLOOD TABLE.
I WILL HAVE THE SMALLER TOTE ON TOP AND I WILL HOOK UP IT UP WIT A FLOOD AND DRAIN FITTING.
BUT NOW I NEED INFO ON HOW TO GROW???LOL
IDEAL NUTES???
WHEN TO FLOOD??HOW MANY TIMES???HOW LONG??
PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING THAT WILL HELP ME HAVE A SUPERB GROW :weed::bigjoint:
THANKS MAN!!

You should really check out the compost tea like someone mentioned before. Your slime will most likely come back with H2O2. The beneficial bacteria in the tea keeps the slime away for sure. It has helped all of my hydro grows since the first grow when I ran into slime issues. The tea solved the problem in 2 days. It also helps with disease resistance and nutrient uptake.

Good luck.

Pondzyme and aquashield are really all you need. It's not just superstoner saying so... old posters on the hydro boards like bigbudda and others use it too. The reason being it's cheap, easy to get, and works. There is really no need to have to brew up teas and h202 and this and that unless it is to get rid of root rot. But to prevent it, just run some decent cheap benes.

As I said Aquashield worked wonders for my grow...three weeks from Pineapple Express Harvest..I got 4/5 clones to root like SOB's so next is a scrog set-up I think.

Hats off to all of ya who have good results w/DWC. To each their own. I stick by my opinion that f&d is less work/maintenance. Try skipping a dose's of your zymes, shields, teas h202 etc. and see what happens. Perhaps the diaphragm in your bubbler goes out while on vacation (i have to replace bubblers constantly due to this). How well do you think things will look then? In f&d these things are not a worry. Sure a pump could burn out on me when i'm on vacation. I use 1/4 hp simer sump pumps w/built in screens on the bottom. They run for less than 10 minutes a day. These will last years.

It was just a joke dude. Chill out. I may have a lot of posts but i offer a lot of knowledge from a ton of grow experience. Piss off.

Sure didn't read like a joke. If I was hasty in my remark I apologize. When ppl post off color remarks about my Information or opinions I tend to get a bit defensive. I know it is not productive(i'm working on it:cuss:) When someone pisses me off on here I go do some trimming. This always puts me in a better place. Hence my better attitude now:eyesmoke:.

I have no problem if someone disagrees w/ what i'm saying as I feel a good debate about a subject increases the knowledge of all parties involved. If I have incorrect ideas or assumptions I want to be corrected. This makes me more informed and also more helpful to others on this site. As well as more productive w/my vegetables.:bigjoint:

Upon thinking about the subject a bit more, rather than giving my opinions I leave you w/ my observations.
I tend to follow AL B.Fuct's methods of rez maintenance and such. (with some variations) He has quite a few threads stickied. So someone on here must think his words are wise.

Secondly, There are few(if any) commercial Dwc grows on here as well. There is a reason for that.

F&D is a consistent and low maintenance method of indoor gardening. Is it practical for all applications? No. But the methods can be scaled down to almost any size, and setup at a fairly low cost. Pump, rez, tray, plants. Done. For beginners it is probably the easiest to manage bcuz root problems are almost nonexistent. You do not have to worry about that shit. So you can actually learn how to grow.

If you have any more intelligent comments on the subject I welcome hearing them. Saying flood and drain sucks dwc is better doesn't count. If you find any pic's of large DWC grows I would love to see em'
I'm not trying to be a dick, and again am sincerely happy what you do works for you. :peace:

Well you are not much of a comedian. I already apologized. Then asked for other intelligent comments on the subject.
Your response "
  • Flood and drain sucks, dwc is better. Hahaha. take a breath dude. All of that for a joke?

"
I'm good, besides most of that post was not directed at you anyway. It was merely a list of observations I compiled on the subject.
