OK this is my first time growing, so I'm going to need some help. I am growing outdoors and im doing it down my street on this big hill here nobody goes and you have to hop a fence to get to. I am not planning on using any plant food or fertilizing liquids or anything like that, I'm pretty much gonna just let it grow and water it about twice a week. I'm starting germinating today (3/8/10) and we'll see where it goes from there. The soil I will be using is Miracle grow, I'm not sure what the specifics are. Need coaching!! Any posts/help will be fine so I am not doing this all by myself.. Thank you in advance!:joint:

do some reasearch around here and then if u get stumped on something come back and ask a qestion about it .. we cant help you unless we know what u need help with.

What type of MG? garden soil/potting soil?? depending what your soil conditions are where you live,dig your holes fairly deep. MG is fine but get some that has time release ferts in them, beings you're just gonna water only when needed.

The Miracle Grow I have is potting soil, and it has a 3 month time release it says on it.. So how much should I use and give me some help

if you're putting them in the ground, I'd dig a hole 2' by 2' deep and fill it up with MG, doesn't matter how much or how deep and wide, that depends on you. you'll be just fine!:blsmoke:

mmkay but it hasnt sprouted yet. i bought a pot of dirt and my long time friend told me there was a germinated, female seed in there. so im trusting him

It sprouted! however i didnt check on it for 2 days so when i cam back the 2 leaves on it were partially brown and no there are are 2 little weed looking leaves, all jagged and wrinkly kinda. however the first two oval shaped leaves are still about half or a third brown each. what should i do/ also the stem that goes into the ground is purple.. my friend told me the seeds would prodice extremly purple buds, however would the stem already be purple?

actually i bought it already planted in dirt so theres no miracle grow in it.. so why else would it be a little brown? however its getting better.. they were really brown now they are returning to their natural green state ^.^

just be gentle with it... it doesnt' need to be soaking wet all the time... don't let it get TOO dry either...

as for your holes... dig until you are tired... then dig a little more... at least half what you want your canopy to be... fill that with good dirt

god luck with on that... right now the water table is so high around here you can't dig a 6 inch hole without making a well
