I have the same set up as you on the left side of my growing room and I am budding 9 plants on the 4'x4' flood table. I like to give a little room between each plant so they can branch out a little and get more light penetration. Last grow I did 16 and vegged them for too long before budding. As you can guess it got way to crammed in their and didn't get the greatest results. That's why I'm giving them some breathing room this time around and they are looking much better. Btw I have them in 5 gallon pots

thats not entirely tru these plants (depending on strain) go through a immense stretching period for the first few weeks of flowering. i threw a bag seed for kicks in my system mostly sativa at 6" and its at week 4 of flower and sitting at exactly 36".

the sog rule is four per square foot. I like those little white botanicare pots that you can buy as spares for the turbogarden. Really help you pack it in there. Only I never really did a sog. I stuffed those pots with rockwool and vegged for three weeks. I trained those 6 plants like bonsai. I got 2 oz at most and I would say that is one per square foot of space. I would also use one gallon black pots or free ones from a nursery. ha. good finds. So to train a plant it takes more room like one and a half square foot vegged three weeks or so. Tie down the branches to the edges of the pots. top it too.

Sorry I forgot to elaborate on the strain issue. It all depends on the genetics of your plants. Mine triple in size and from what I remember you had height issues you had to address. Hey Gypsy!!! you Old Greasy WeedBaron

I feel like 'double-harvesting' isn't very efficient... The plan will be putting most of it's resources into recovering and only some into budding. I watched the video but to be honest, that guy tried sounding more professional than his grow actually was. I'd like some more opinions. Cheers!

With a 600, you can do about 3-4 plants per sq ft, up to 3 sq ft. You won't be able to use the whole tray and get good bud density. 9-12 plants, clustered in the middle of the tray is about right.
Also, you will want to use a Sea of Green arrangement for best yield. Immediately after your clones set root, chuck them in to flower under the 600. Prune off all branching that pops up, basically denude the bottom 1/3 of the plant. Branches restrict airflow and produce leafy, wispy buds that are a bastard to manicure for little yield. Best to just not grow them. Removing branches dramatically improves airflow between the plants, reducing the possibility of mould; it also forces the plant to grow the big, dense upper colas and improves their size and density. SoG produces uniformly short plants that don't need a lot of lighted space and produces the best yields because the major budmass is in the highest intensity part of the pattern from artificial lighting.

I was thinking about using (2) 600 watters on light movers over (4) 4'x4' trays... Would this be good???

Hay Geeb, good to hear from you. Hope everything's normal for you.
I'm not a fan of light movers at all. If you think you need a light mover, you either need more lights or need to be less ambitious with the amount of area you're trying to light. I don't think I'd use a 600 on an area bigger than 3'x4'.

When I wrote the '2 weeks' thread, I misjudged the size of the trays I have. You'll find some errata notes in the first page of that thread if you go look. My trays are actually 900mmx900mm (35.4" x 35.4"), a bit smaller than 4'x4'. But yes, I'm using 2x 1000 over the 4x 900x900mm trays.
