Yeah everything the guys posted above is right on. I leave all leaves on unless they are fried you can easily tell which ones are fried by barely tugging on the leaf , if they fall of with ease then take them off if they have some green on them leave them be I can guarantee you that they wont be easy to pull off. Your plant will suck the nitrogen out of those leaves its more food for your plant. Lower your water level a little and yes gett more air stones the air stones or clean them.. More Oxygen = bigger plants in veg.
