Need feedback I am just getting nervous about the amount of foliage that I have on the bottom half and I have been told let it go & told get those leaves feeder/fans leaves outta their ASAP. It's been tough getting answers so here's a few things I am using a phototron with 3×40w/6500k(full spectrum) T-12 fluorescent tubes from top to bottom and I understand if it isn't getting lights on the side and only on top but I think it might be different for every person's grow and setup but any feedback would be appreciated. It's in soil and it's been grown without nutrients and just a little fertilizer during transition and during its 2 times being transplanted. Also if I had the money for it I would love to have a newer setup but I just wanted to see if I could grow and not break the bank so here's the pictures of her and remember that it's my first grow but I'm not sure what to do with it being so far into flowering and at the 3 week I took 30% of foliage away but didn't want to stunt growth or get mold and worse of all kill her from the amount of foliage that some people have already said I HAVE to do so...

In your case, I would selectively trim fan leaves that are blocking light from penetrating in and getting on developing bud sites. My lights are on top, so for me that means trimming away some upper fan leaves to let light go down farther. I also trim the lower 1/3 of plant where light is not hitting, and there will only be little fluff buds. In your case, I would want to preserve every little useable bud I could, so I would just strategically trim a few leaves to allow light to penetrate in a little better.

I would say it’s growing great for your light setup of 120W of fluorescent.
As far as the mass of fans, I would trim again selectively to assist with light penetration.
Don’t go crazy, just thin out a little.

Start "small" and see what the plant likes. I would start with the largest leaves all the way around and any dying/yellow ones that might be hiding in the center, but only those. It's fairly normal for the largest or weakest leaves to blow off in nature when gusts of wind or bad storms come through.

Edit by "large", I mean it in a relative manner. IE the ones that are monsters compared to the rest.

High Five on the Phototron Bro! I have some good memories of those. Since you probably aren't going to get a pound out of it anyway I would maybe trim a little and play a little. If your humidity never goes below 50% it would suck to have it go moldy at the end so maybe a little thinning will be good for it. I never trim my stuff because I am in an open room with lots of room.

So I did a little bit of trimming and it was a good result thanks for the feedback and I learned about the Phototron from my Dad lol but I think that they're awesome for beginning to learn how to grow
