NEED HELP about 2 make veg room.

WHAT KIND OF LIGHTS SHOULD I USE!!! AHHHHHH

Ok so this is my 1st real grow. Had my hand in other ones, but this one is mine.



I just started flowering which means i need to move my little ones and clones to another room after the 12 hrs. Right now i have 2 bs fl. The ones @ home depot that say they are for growing. (looked at them again today there and they only put out like 1100 lumens.) weak.


so i want to make a good veg room. Flowering one has a 1000 watt hps so i want something equally as impressive.


Ive been looking at all the possibilities,cfl, t5, hps, led, everything.


as of now im really leaning towards 8 4ft t5's.
i also just say this 5 minutes ago and its making me think somemore.

It says there is a 55 watt t6 that produces 4750 lumens!!! 8 of those has a good ring to it, but i dont hear anyone ever talking about t6's its all about t5's it seems.

I already know how good the 1000watthps works, been VERY good for me. my plant went from 6" from the 1st, to up to my chest today. Very large.



So help me out, let me know what to do. area is 3x4' 6".
looking at spending around 200-300 for lights.

for veg just go with 4 4fters,.. 8 is too many for that space,... be careful about buying fixtures that take non standard bulbs,.... i use standard flouro tubes,.. 3.98 for a 2 pak,... t5's 7.50 each... got the picture?

8 t5's would only be about 20" wide.


only reason i dont like the reg ones is they seem weak. I like fast growth, impatient

someone has to have some kind of idea. need more.



found 4ft 8 t5 for around 200 w/ bulbs. sounds good.
