Been noticing this problem on my biggest girl outside. Huge buds on this grapefruit plant but once I pulled some buds back I saw blackish brown parts on the bud. Looks like mold I'm pretty sure. It has been a wet summer where I'm at. Especially the past few weeks. She's at 5-6 weeks into flower. Ahead of my other girls by a few weeks. Need advice on what to do with her before it gets too bad

Sorry to say...chop it now its fucked. It will just keep spreading and spreading...unless...you get some fungicide on it. I dont know how bad the plant is rotted, but if its more then 30% , chop it down and salvage the noninfected buds. How far along is it?

Luckily no others are showing signs. Will the fungicide stop it or would you still suggest cutting it down? Maybe cut the buds that are more affected and leave others that aren't?

Botrytis is airbourne. If you spray her with fungicide it will dry up the cell wall of the fungus . You should only then spray fungicide every 5 days or so, but if it rains on it, get out there and spray it again. Green Cure is what I use for fungicide. Great product.Yes fungicide will stop is dead in its tracks
