it started on just a couple leaves but now is spreading to a couple others I was only using qtr strength of Pure blend Pro bloom and Big budmight be nutrient burn, but what do i know? how much are you feeding them and how often? is it on all the leaves or just a few? if its only a few leaves i wouldnt worry too much about it, unless it starts to do that on lots of leaves.
flush your system well and and slightly decrease your nut levels. if your new growth is fine then its all good!it started on just a couple leaves but now is spreading to a couple others I was only using qtr strength of Pure blend Pro bloom and Big bud
They are currently in the 3rd wk of flower
also are you still feeding them nitrogen?flush your system well and and slightly decrease your nut levels. if your new growth is fine then its all good!
oh thats right, if its your 3rd week of flower, and they are not getting nitrogen then you will see this type of thing. not neccisarily a bad thing, personally i have a nute mix that gives them a bit of nitrogenalso are you still feeding them nitrogen?
That 10-40-9 ratio is pretty strong man. Im guessing its chemical. I use fox farms tiger bloom 2-8-4 and even at 1/2 strength I will get nute burn. I did try and use the cha ching 9-50-10 from fox farms at 1/4 strength and it burnt my plants overnite just like yours. Some plants are just super sensitive and dont like alot of chemical. If I was you I would flush and just feed every other water. Also are you growing in soil..if so does it have fertilizer added also? The big bud has a 10-40-7 ratio the Pure Blend has a 1-4-5 ratio I just went up to a 50% solution on Sunday when I fed and watered.
Should I still flush them and if so how long after flush b4 istart back on the nutes
This is wrong, they might fade without N in flower, but lack of N does not cause necrotic splotches on leaves.oh thats right, if its your 3rd week of flower, and they are not getting nitrogen then you will see this type of thing. not neccisarily a bad thing, personally i have a nute mix that gives them a bit of nitrogen
Thanx for the help. I'm in soil roots organic. I flushed this afternoon and will go back to just using thepure blend which is 1 4 5That 10-40-9 ratio is pretty strong man. Im guessing its chemical. Thanx again. Just checked PH and either my probe is screwed or I've got some serious hot spots. Cause 1 place reads6.8. Another reads 5.5. Any ideas or you think flushing will take care of it. And once again ThanxAnother thing that may help you..I dont know if you have a ph meter or not? If you dont you need to get one. For example....Im using tap water and ph of my water 6.9-7.0 thats great for tap water but when I add my bloom fertilizer my ph drops to 6.1. When I used my bloom fertilizer and added that cha ching it dropped to like 5.9. Since your using soil thats gonna be way too low a ph for you.....A 7.0 ph is neutral, a 6.9 ph is 10x more acidic than 7.0.......6.8 is 10x more acidic than 6.9........6.7 is 10x more acidic than 6.8 etc etc. But that might not be a problem for you, just thought i'd throw that out there
