HELP Broken timer!
I'm growing 2 short riders and i had them on 18/6. I noticed today that the light was on (it's sunday i'ne had the dark in the day to avoid landlod spotting the meeter spinning) they don't seem to have don much for the past few days so they cloud have been on 24/0 for at lest 3 days. should i go back to 18/6 and hopt for the best or 12/12 to make up for the loss of dak i'm worried abot the short life spann of the pland and i do't want them to die b4 they ripe. also hermies

Thanks SLB. I'm going to try to stick four 42w 6500k spectrum bulbs this Friday when I get paid again. Right now I'm running all 2600k which I know is not recommended for veg.

When I start feeding nutes this Friday do I feed them every watering (3-4 days)? I'll hopefully have a ph meter by the end of the week too.

This experiment has turned from a science project into a hobby lol. Thank you for all your help!
I'd give them some fresh water in between feedings, to lower the chance of any salt build-ups!

thank you, id like to just be able to buy some carbonated water but the only thing i can find is a 2liter/soft drink type lol..

is there a way i can remove posts/threads/topics that i have made?? or attachments/pics??
As long as it's straight up carbonated water, and it ain't got no flavors and shit, it should work...
You can remove posts...Click "Edit Post">>Delete...as for threads, I think only Mods can do that...You should be able to remove pics and attachments as well!

Hello, I have a 3 week old seedling thats in trouble. This is my first grow ever. I'm using a mix of MG soil, peat moss, and perlite in my mix. The first three sets of starter leaves started turning yellow and then looked like they were getting burned so I cut them off. So I backed off the nutes and flushed with 3x pot volume of bottled water. The leaves are still yellowing as shown in the pictures. Also in the picture, you can see that the main stem is bent, but healed and there is a twist tie holding down the top of the stem. She didn't start to yellow until after the stem was bent. I don't want the plant to die on me but I'm afraid the MG soil mix is too much for it. The remainder of the mix is in a large pot that is flushed on a daily basis with rain fall runoff from the roof of my house.

Would it be a good idea to top it and use the topped cutting as a clone in some flushed soil or should I wait a bit longer?
Don't give up hope just yet, the MG might be the problem...that shit is hot as hell...What's the pH of your water like btw?

The stunted growth may be a result of extreme root growth, sometimes a plant will show no top growth for a while, but underneath the soil, it is growing like crazy...Give her a few more days, she should start back up! How far away is your light btw?

my temp is sittin around 80 and humidity around 50 is this going to be to stressful for a plant
You probably wanna' bring the humidity down just a bit, especially if you're flowering already, but the temp is ok, they prefer it around 75-77 though

Put them back under 18/6!!! 12/12 will decrease yield! If this was the first time they've been stressed badly, then you should be fine!

I'd try white widow first, it's probably the most forgiving of the 3! You would probably be able to do all 20, but it'll be a lil' snug!

Thanks man, This is what I'm here for! And I'm probably gonna keep this thread going for as long as rollitup exists!

SLB
I went through about 200 other threads here before I found SLB's which I might say is the most helpful one for a first time grower willing to sit down and read for a day.

SLB one more question, can I use molasses? If so what type is most beneficial? How will it effect my ph?

Thank you for the help right now the lights are about 12-15 inches from the tops with no heat at all at the tops of the plants
