"NEED HELP"....Enclosed Hood With Air Cooled Cool Tube System

I have a new grow tent 59*59*79...For those that dont know its 5 ft by 5 ft-6.5 ft tall..I would like to get a 1000 watt set up and i been looking at virtualsun hydroponics site and they look very affordable for me..The question i have are there fully enclosed hood with air cooled cool tube system any good..I cant find any reviews on it..has any one purchased anything from them,are they dependable etc..ANY COMMENTS WILL BE VERY HELPFULL..

I am not sure about the quality of the light hood that you are looking at, but in my experience you'll need a taller tent to run a 1000w light. I can't get my 1000w up high enough and have to dim it to 600w to stop bleaching the tops of my plants. I wished I had a taller tent. Make sure you get a dimmable ballast.

I run a 1000w Lumatek in my 4x4 tent also...depending on where you live cooling could be a bit of an issue 1000's run pretty hot. Where I am the average night temps are around 15-16f so I don't have any trouble with heat, actually I have the opposite problem, not enough heat during my lights out period....like laserbrn said headroom is a definite issue, I also have to dial mine back to 600 when they get too big so dimmable should definitely be high on your list for must haves.

it makes sense about the height..good point laserbrn..yeah i live up north so its cold and wow you run a 1000 w in your tent...good stuff.. benign..i think i should get a 600 hps...just had my heart on that 1000 hps...real deal breaker for me...but thank you guys on your comments...and remember "SMOKE TILL YOU CHOKE"

The 1000 will run in the 4x4 or a 5x5, but I'm 5 1/2 weeks into flower so I had to kick down to 600w to stop the bleaching! Seriously though, I'd get the dimmable 1000w if I had it all to do again.
