my plant is about 1.5 feet tall and is getting to be quite bushy. there are white hairs appearing at the nodes, but my concern is they seem to be coming out of little balls. can anyone help determine the sex of this plant. everything tells me that white hairs and bushy means female, but this plant is starting to worry me. any input would be greatly appreciated

those pics are pretty small man but sounds like your talking about the 'pods' that the flowers begin as. take some more pics. They look female to me so far but like I said, real small pics man.

just open in a new tab and zoom in on the images. is it possible for a male flower (ball) to have white hairs coming out of the tip? each of what almost looks like balls has two white hairs coming out of it.

I think it's a female too, although those weird looking calyxes got me fooled good, in fact I'm not sure!
