Need help fast with lights

i had flos on my three plants and there veggin but one of the lights is flickering so i went and bought HPS bulbs (aahhhheemmm expensive) and i am clearly retarted and never thought about them not being able to go into regular fixtures. so i have A HUGE PROBLEM.. my babies are going without good light and i havent the money to purchase a 100 dollar fixture... what can i do ASAP?

Buy more floros or get the fixture for ur HPS light. I like to use those curly CFLs. Theyre cheap, stay cool and they fit into a regular screw in light socket.

because im switching over to flower in about a week and a half i think..

You're end result will be WAY better if you use the HPS light with its proper ballast. If your REALLY dont want to buy a HID ballast, CFL's will do for flowering. make sure you get the bulbs in the proper spectrum for ur flowering stage. I recommend more 6500K (daylight/blue spectrum) bulbs for vegging and 2700k (warm white/red spectrum) bulbs for flowering. And theres never any harm in mixing different colored bulbs. You'll find a range of different spectrums available, they can be found just about anywhere like Lowes, Home Depot, hardware stores, Wal-Mart, etc.

Yeah the blue CFL lights are great. I have 6 over my masterkush plants. When I switch to flower I have 6 "warm" lights in the 2700K variety.

Just a tip, make sure you inspect the package before buying. I picked up some lights and some had 6, some had 4, some 2 and some 1. They all seemed to be random prices. When you go to the store, expect to shell out 20-50 dollars on CFLS depending on quantity, brand and the store.

thanks guys i wasnt sure if the cfls would work so i was trying to come up with more money than i have i will work with the cfls for now tho and save for the good stuff. if im gonna go all out iwant to get the good stuff not just the cheapest.

Save up, during flowering switch to that HPS bulb. That would blow your bud production into high gear.
