My best advice is to get some Miracle grow soil it is cheap and basic ,go natural for the 1st 3 weeks wit just soil n water
then youl prolly want really small amounts of fert for youre vegetation im talking ..say if u buy miracle grow fert and it says 1 tablespoon a gallon of water,i would reduce it to an eighth of that for the start of vegetation only giving it the nutes once a week till preflower then a little more. Its just a matter of starting small but youll more than likely be using chemical nutes cuzz the organic is pricey and not always ez to get.But the thing is with chemical nutes you have to be careful withem cuzz they do burn plants quicker, smaller amounts than what they suggest in the fert instructions when it comes to chemy's.It all depends on what you wanna do really.

Hope it dont seem to complicated.

GL wit yur grow.

hey budd... i got everything i have at my local town store. they have three packs of 26w cfl lights that come to 100 regular watt output and about 1700 lumens a bulb. they also have reflector hoods like for aquariums or just lighting... the wones with the clips on them, your can get a jack splitter and have 2 bulbs per hood. thats 200w output and about 3500 lumens. get like 2 or three of those settups and that should be great. the lights are 10 bucks a pack and the hoods are like 8 bucks. the jack splitters are like 1.50 so thats like 45 dollars for lighting that will last 4 years and give off plenty of light to get u through the vegitative stage. check out my thread "new seedling growing very good" i have a picture of my light setup in that. once u switch over to flowering you should get a 250w hps balast and hood that should be pleanty of light for your 2 plants. good luck and just remember, baby them in the beginning and you will have no big troubles with your plants. i wouoldnt use any heavy duety newts for your first time... and if u are using soil u shouldnt have to, they have plant food in it. dont wana over feed your plant. good luck man have fun with it.
