need help hairs are turning color

ok so i am juss over 3 weeks into flowering and i have 2 plants that have hairs starting to turn brown one of them only has a couple but the other one is almost 50% turned should i still harvest at 80% or should i rely more on trich to determin i have no clue what the strain is there bagseed but i dont think any plants finish flowering in less than 6 weeks do they? thanks in advance for the help:sad:

Hey, technically they can be done abit quicker,, but in genral they dont, ,go off the trichs, thats the only really reliable way to tell ripness,,

thanks thats what i was kinda figureing this is my first real grow i say that cus ive had one or two that got busted and mistreated thats for the help hopefully i can get some pics up soon
 
Harvest when the trichome color tells you your plants are ready to be harvested.

clear white trichomes - premature not ready yet
milky white trichomes - when 80% of trichomes are milky color plants can be harvested (milky trichomes = clear high) strain dependent
amber/brown trichomes - the trichomes are over ripened and starting to decay it will produce a really heavy body high (not bad for indicas :)

i use a cheap $5 30x jewlers ring from ebay to take a close maginfied look at my trichomes
