Need Help Picking the right Ballast !

my Grow area is 80x80x160 and im only wanting to run 400 watts as any more then that will cause heat problems , this ballast is 600 watts http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LUMII-600...472&rk=5&rkt=6&mehot=pp&sd=331268617997&rt=nc but it has the option to run 400 watts to 400 watts boost can i just run a 400 watt bulb in it ?

Look for rf interference ballasts . Save yourself from getting caught !

i highly recommend phantom ballasts. they are top of the line imo

Sure, just don't turn the 400 bulb up to the 600w setting!
It'll work fine. Kinda looks like a galaxy knock off but that's no matter.
Having the 600w available to use will be a good thing down the road.

Don't worry about the RF thing! You guys have a totally different power system and it is a moot point for you.

Don't worry about brands. We all have our preferences (I only use Quantum) it is not important to what your going to do.

Thank you nice a simple answer the ballast is the last thing on my list till i start growing some nice juicy tomatoes
