Need help! Plants are not doing well! Pictures Inside!

I know that because I flushed them with almost pure ph up, only 10% diluted with water. The cup on the right is 90% dry. Over watering is not the problem in my pics. If look really close you can see the soil.

as you can tell, my soil is doing a great job buffering almost pure base, 4 days later and see what happens.

I bet his ph is right around 6.5 maybe 6.6 spot on, in a totaly awesome soil!!

Perhaps this could also shed some light... My last grow, I was using distilled water from the grocery store. When it went into flower, I didn't have any distilled so I moved to my tap water for a few days and saw much better results. The plants looked much more full and healthier..

This picture is caused by temperature changing from cold to warm, cold nights and warm days.

Some varieties, like equatorial sativas, don't take well to cold weather. If you can keep the roots warmer, the plant will be able to take cooler temps than it otherwise could. Also note that in colder temps, phosphorus gets poorly absorbed and if this happens your plants can show purpling of the leaves and stems, (cannabis has a natural purple color to it's stems, the deep purple is what shows the problem)this is the same example when plants change color in flowering when environment triggers cause the plant to change color, also genes play a role as well.

Yep your reference refers to this as a problem when its actually a great example of how temp high/low promotes vigorous growth. So ass backwards and misguided are so many. I weep for the future.........

I think i just posted to someone to get their room cooler for flowering and how I exposed my avatar to frost 3 times, did you read that post?
 
so flushed with 6.2 , 3-4 times pot size about a 1/2 gallon of water thru 1 cup of soil the run off is 6.4. the 1/2 gallon of 6.2 water is affecting the ph reading, making it lower that what the soil actually is. so if the soil was say 7.0, which causes lock out, flushing with 6.2 water would drop the ph.

The temp reaching 86 sure didnt help, or the fact its only 1 cup of soil. The soil was toxic to the plants. from the pics it looked like it. After they dry up a bit, maybe tommorrow morn, afternoon, transplant very very gently into a bigger cup with fresh soil. Mix up the soil and water, test the water 3-4 hrs from now. it will probably be in the range it can start picking up nutes again. you can also do this with the fresh soil and make sure it is correct for mj.

and dont let it get that hot again, keep a fan in the room blowing towards the plants, drying the soil up. not pointed right at them 3inches away. put the fan 2-3 feet away. an keep the lights backed off until recovered 2-3 ft away
 
according to that I can grow mj in soil from around 4.5 to 9.5 and my plants will still get some of everything. althought in smaller amounts, but its still available all thru the ph scale. Ph availability for what , that is a very vague chart. it dosent have a title for what type of plant, in soil or hydro. Soil, soilless and hydro all have different ph's for nute pick up for cannabis. I watered my grow today, and just for shits and giggles, watered with unadjusted water, 7.5 1 hr after the 2 cups of 7.5 water leaves folded down, looking like death. I went and mixed 4.0 water 1 cup and they are all lifted back up looking good, I left 3 of them to see just how well my ph buffered soil will buffer the toxic water, they have yet to recover, want me to go grab some pics and you can tell me what is wrong with my soil mix, its not returning to 6.6 very fast, might by wed, or thurs, but thats 3 days of not growing, big problem for me. Maybe I should have just done what i always do, ph my water and the 4 plants I watered would not have drooped like they did...and they would have grown almost an inch by now.

oh I must ask what do you buffer your soil to, 7?

only 2-3 cups of water, deff. not overwatered here, see how nice I make my soilDSC00872.jpg so I must say what is wrong with my soil, what is the reason its not buffering back to 6.6 range. The temps are 73-75 18 hrs per day. roots organics grow, bat shit , b-1 2 1k lights, one mh, one hps

I just did this today, probably around 10 am

Sorry that chart is not good enough for you. You can still find it in any college text, even at graduate level, on botany, soil science, plant physiology, etc. Hasn't changed for at least 35 years I can tell you that. As you reinvent the world of pH you might as well reinvent this chart for everyone.

It is from a soils text so it is for soils for general plants. Marijuana is a simple plant that grows worldwide in a ton of soils so obviously not too picky, i.e. a weed.

You obviously do not know how to interpret the chart and what it means any more than you understand pH. 4.5 to 9 is a little extreme, but most MJ varieties would be ok at 5.8-7.7 in a Buffered Soil. The oft quoted pH range of 6.3 - 6.8 for cannabis is the IDEAL range. But things don't come to a screeching halt outside that range in a Buffered Soil. But I'm sure understand the complex relationship between pH, buffering capacity, and CEC. (hint: it's cation exchange capacity).

Anyway keep up the good work of whatever this you are doing. Certainly entertaining for me anyway.

Dude, do riu a favor and stay out of plant problems, dont post any threads trying to teach anything. Just stay in your thread or others youve subscribed too. Your advice costs new growers money, time, and stresses out the already stressed out growers plants more than is needed. Your advice is horrible and its driving me up the wall. Lock out at ph of 7?? What?? One micronutrient maybe according to GH chart to make you buy up and down, and what in the flying fuck is that one micronutrient going to do to that plant??? Not one fucking thing!!! Well maybe it will affect it a tiny bit but that plant looks like it got shot with an ak-47 and then run over with a D9 cat..............and your advice is........its the ph, look i have pictures of a couple plants i watered with lemon juice to prove it.

so what do I do with the droppy plants, just leave em alone and they will continue to get worse not yield shit, probably die long before that. or should I fix them so they start growing again

why are you getting so up set? your right I should just kill myself, what should I do with the droppy plants. im sure you know best
