over-rated + over-priced = bullshit.
diy one and itll cost you 40% less guaranteed. and you can build it to your needs, wants, or shits and giggles.
first off, is this gonna be used for veg and flower, or only veg? what size lighting, size area you want enclosed, plans to vent?
basically you need to design some pvc frame to the size you want, enclose it in panda film or plastic lined with mylar and the outside painted black (convent for me at the time). sound wasnt an issue so i used a small shop blower fan inside the enclosure and vented it outside through a re-routed bathroom fan duct. I cut holes in the tent and used dryer ducting in 3ft sections pointed down from the intake hole ending about 6" from the floor. this prevented 90% of light escape.hanging black handkerchiefs over the intake vents blocked the rest of the light leak and still provided adequate airflow. the opening of the enclosure is the pain in the ass. i framed it with pvc so i left that door part i framed off unglued so i could open and close it. i used a spray can adhesive for body shops to attach the tent wall to the door framing. I had to tape the door to prevent airleaks when i started using co2 in there though, but if you dont use it it isnt an isssue.
