I will be doing away with my flowering tent and setting up in a bedroom. For those of you who use bedrooms for your actual grow space, how do you exchange air? Do you cut holes in the walls for ventilation? I dont really have that ability. If I ventilate I might just need to buy a new door and put my intake and exhaust holes in the door leading to a hallway(would this work?)

Also, how do you setup your carbon filter? where does the filter lead to? out of the window? what about light venting? It just seems like I would have to cut holes all over the room....

Also, if I chose to implement CO2, I would no longer need intake or exhaust fans/air correct? but would it be ok to add AC to this room?

I will be doing and Ebb & Grow Monster setup. 12 plants 55 Gal Res 3 plants per 1,000W bulb. Might throw in a few vertical hanging bulbs as time passes as well.

PS. I know this post seems all over the place. I had many of questions but they totally slipped my mind so I had to hurry and jot these down lol

If you are going to have it in a bedroom, I am going to assume you have an a/c vent coming from the central unit. That will bring in fresh air to the room, and supply a little cooling. In mine, I have the room completely sealed off (window boarded up and caulked) and the door sealed with weather stripping all the way around with a door sweep at the bottom. You might also put some sound foam on the back side of the door for sound from the a/c.. I also have a portable single duct a/c unit out in the open room, with the exhaust from that venting into the attic. This keeps the temps where you want them, because with several lights the central a/c just isn't going to cut it. Use a large carbon filter/fan in the room, venting right into the room so it is just scrubbing the air. As simple as setting the fan on top of the filter and letting it do it's thing. I use an inline fan to push through my hoods to keep heat off the bulbs, but do not vent that out of the room. That creates one hole, for the a/c. It may not be that efficient power wise since I don't vent any of the heat from the lights out, but that would also remove cool air from the room. As far as Co2 goes, I don't use it. I spend enough time in there to make up for it ;)

Hope that gives you some help. I might have been all over the place as well but I'll be glad to try to help if you still have questions. Peace and Happy Growing my friend from Cali!
