Need help sprouting germinated seeds

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here? I get some seeds and soak them in a black shot glass until they sink to the bottom. Then I let a few of them "crack open" and when they do that I put them in rockwool cubes and in a humidity dome. Its warm in there cause its inside my grow room but its sectioned off. Before seeds sprouted in 2 days. now its been 5 and still nothing. when I go to check the cubes are still wet. should I turn on my florescents and cover the dome with a towel to generate a lil more heat or what? I also have a heating pad I tried. Kept it on low and still got nothing. It worked last time...

maybe? I thought you should soak them them squeeze out a lil bit before putting the seed in there? Thats what I did and nothing. Could be bad seeds but if they were bad they wouldn't have cracked open right?

it sounds like you are germinating them right, i do almost the same thing but i use ziploc bags and put my rockwool in there and put everything on top of the cable box for warmth.
bad seeds would crack and some wont, it really depends on the strength of the strain.

When you put them on the cable box, how long? Til you get a sprout? Maybe my heat pad was too warm? I also read you can turn on floro's to give them heat, just cover with a towel or sheet? idk man but this shit is starting to piss me off :) I wanna grow 12/12 from seed and the seeds ain't cooperating

maybe just toss em in some fox farm ocean forest and get some clones off em later. when all else failed I did this back in the day, and found that germinating in soil was money in the bank. granted this is a janky manuever, especially if yer runnin hydro, but it did work with almost 100% success.
