whats up everybody.. i previously posted my current setup so far in another post, however i encountered a problem while in construction of my grow tubs.. i'm growing in 2 18gal rubbermaid tubs with 264gph sub pump in each with 2 12" airstones in each tub. the problem i'm having now it what do i need to split the the tube from the water pump into 6 separate lines so that i can run the lines to each of the net pots i have. i'm doing (6) 5" net pots in each tub. i've read something about a manifold? but that does me no good. i need to know what EXACTLY to buy. :) any help would be appreciated.

I built mine using (3) 10 3/4" airstones and a 30-60 gallon external air pump. You can buy the tubing and the connectors from the same place you bought the airstones and pump. Just tell the guy/girl that you need connectors to join your airstones. They're cheap. When i bought mine they came with two flow valves to control the air pressure. I hope this was the question you were trying to ask.

that looks like alot of faith on a water pump, and those things fail more than air pumps... You should check out DWC... all you need is a 10-30 dollar air pump that clear hose (which you dont want to use for water ..it will mold up and shit)...

Check out the journal... i even started the clone bubbler with a clear bucket and tested different air rocks.. check it and leanr something today brothas

What I did. At lowes, they sell tubing 1/2 clear tubing I think . 23 cents. Get one foot. Then grab 1/2 pvc pipe, a T connector and two end caps... You might want to use a sealant as well like at walmart for aquariums.
Take the 1/2 clear tube, cut it down to about 6 inch.

Pvc pipe measure the distance from the top of the pump to the lid of you container. Give it alittle slack maybe take a inch off the measurement. Cut that piece. Measure the length of the container, prob like 22 inches long. so cut two 11 inch pieces, actually i would do them 10 inch. Put it together as a T

Take the 6 inch clear tube you cut, coat it with sealant, stick it in the bottom of the T (that sounds dirty eh? lol). Insert clear end on pump. Now just drill 6 holes along the top of the T and run each feeding tube to each pot....

K im Feeling lifted so I hope that made sense err.

I like this method because you dont have the tubes coming from the bottom like on the SH Bubbleponics system, so you dont have to worry about roots becoming tangled ( I have heard some folks say that about them not sure if its true). I also just ran the feeding tube ( i use 1/4th inch tube, you can get it from wally world or lowes or any hydro or aquarium shop). Just run the tube through slot on the net pot, it holds it well and you can direct it right at the roots.

Hope that helps

I know this was already asked but why not skip the water pump and just do dwc, it will be much eaiser and cheaper for you

Your right it saves money and the nice thing is it all comes apart easy to clean too....

patjack I think my next will be just straight DWC - I like many people see these systems like Stealth Hydro's and go ape shit and think they are the shit. That has introduced me to alot of different methods I want to try. Actually I think my next grow will be Hempy Buckets. That looks cool as shit. I dont mind having to water them.
the one problem i have right now, is one plant roots are soaking in the reserve and the others are not there. I am worried that plant is eating all the food, there for turning into a monster... Might have to take it out .

if you get a 90 gph pump with t splits to split the tube you can get 4 outlets of water i would suggest geting a 20gal per output for the pump and how over many splitters you need just keep the outputs even in height and they will work fine

Hey bro - If you're still interested - or if you have trouble doing the DIY thing - you can buy the 6-outlet irrigation manifold for about $7 bucks. There are a bunch of different styles, just check out a sprinkler section in your local HD/Lowes - maybe... If not, check out sprinklerwarehouse.com - they've got one made by the DIG corp, and others. Hope this helps, Peace:peace: Oh - Dude, you should share your design and pics when finished! I hate to see people still underestimate how easy the S.H. system is build. (me) Best of luck with your grow man! :hump:
