Need help wit lighting

trying to start my first grow ever.... im wonderin wat lighting to use... any suggestions??

That's a really complicated question to ask without more details. So since you don't write anything about space i'm going to asume, you have the space to a decent grow.
I would divide the room into a small vegging room and a blooming room.

Vegging room needs just 18-24 hours of lights. Fluorscent will do fine. Take a warm (red) and a cold (blue) light bulb (you can get in any hardware store).

Flowering room i would say take a 400w hps lamp to get a good light that will give you decent bud.

If you are going for a smaller thing with only 1 room i would try a LED lamp.

im sorry bro i have enuff space for at the most 12 plants... its going to be n 1 closet...

if you can sufficiently cool your bulbs go with MH for veg and HPS for flower

ok so wat is the proper lightin for veg n flowering... sorry im askin so many questions im a complete newbie to growing anything...

MH for veg and HPS for flower....also get a hortilux bulb if you can afford it, you will get bigger buds then using a cheap bulb

It all depends on the amount of money you want to put into it. As a rule of thumb though you always want more wattage in the flowering stage

ok so wat bout usin a 400 watt mh hortilux for vegging n a 600 watt hps hortilux for flowering??

In a closet I doubt I would go for HID lights unless you have some really good ventilation for the heat. Go with some cooler T5s for shorter bushier grows.

dat actually sounds like a plan but can u use t5's for both veg n flowering

LED's for the win. One light for veg and flower. No heat. No need for air extraction. Kick ass growth rates and resin production. Nuff said.
