Need help with deciding on LED lighting

I'll have one maybe two plants in a stealth dresser grow. (30" tall 27" wide 13" deep...) Don't know the strain yet =( I'm thinking the 90 watter but will the Sunshine Systems- LED GlowPanel 45 - 27 Watt work well enough. Thanks for any thoughts.

I was gonna use 4 t5's up top but everyone is saying it won't yield anything.

indeed... Read up on irishboy's grows and if you have anymore questions just message him. Theres alot of bunk led light systems out there and you dont wanna throw a few hundo down the drain.

dont like the grow pannel 45s the grow ufos the way to go the grow pannel is rip off you have to add atleast 180 watts of cfls with it to get it to grow right an produce good u can use 90watts but not good results just my 2cents

Whatever product you decide on just google that product and journal ie "grow panel 45" journal. This will turn up actual people that actually grow..

But might as well start off right and get a growledhydro.com led unit. It's more money because they actually work. A lot of people buy them and are always happy. That is another great thread where they compare the 300w led vs a nice 400w hps system. Very well done and shows the potential of the light.

i read that already. i don't think it'll fit plus it's too pricy. I'm having doubts about the flourescent t5's producing buds. I'm goin nuts. Thanks again.

t5s can produce so can cfls. its just how much you have

if you add up all the watts it takes a whole lot to get hps level of lumens.

the reason the glh lights are somewhat expensive is because they work.

if you go through all the off brand chinese led units your going to be very disappointed and end up posting how leds suck. these products are hindering led light advancement.

go to a major led light retailer and price out just the diodes. for anything with half quality you will end up paying at least $2 per watt, then you add in the case, the power supply, led controllers. End result is the cheap ass leds are cutting corners and it shows in their products.

a spectra 120 would fit that space alright

you could also do a 150w hps, they don't get as hot as you might think(but cooling is something to plan for).

I recently just did a complete cycle with an LED light and i highly recommend the one i used. I dont know your budget but i got one on e-bay for $230 with shipping. It was a 120watt QuadBand and it grew 2 plants just fine, and would have done more if i wanted to. they say it puts out as much as a 600watt hps... but theres no heat at all which makes it perfect for your grow in a small dresser. I have also grown in a dresser and this light would be the best in the situation! I cant find the exact one right now, but it came out of Chino CA. The best part is... it only cost me about $4 a month to run! Dont cheap out with lights, especially LED lights. Only the higher priced LEDs out on the market are the good ones that can produce nice nugs

I was going thru something similar man, the best way to go for you actually would be a 150w hps imo. Cheap, effective, proven. It doesn't put out as much heat and a small venting system will do just fine for the cooling, you can get a good 150w from htg supply for like 80$ and it`ll most likely do better than leds, from what i`ve seen leds do work but not most of them, its hard to figure if a product is good or its just advertising, because many people who sell leds come on theese forums claiming thats leds are good so you never know, and mainly the most exensive leds tent to work so if you want something decent you have to go for the best. Anyways imo 150w hps would be better than 90w led and it wont be big difference in the stealth. Marry xmas

I use them thru veg-harvest great yeild even with 100% organics add your HIDs if you want I suggest adding a few 90watt Red LEDs for last 3-2 weeks of flower for denser bigger budds ( I dont I just add a few 10.0 UVB CFLs aka Reptile lights ) UVB is conected to marijuanas potency. I got mine at Petsmart and put it in a worksite cfl reflecter easy enough! any other questions just ask!

im going with a 125 watt cfl 2700k with hood. (14" wide Barely fits) and 2 x 46 watt 6400ish. fox farm ocean dirt with perlite mixed in. 1 x 2 space should be baller. LST of course. Thanks for all the advise peeps. I'm gettin very close. VERY EXCITE! What kinda strain should i get? Any other thoughts?
