Need help with germinating shitty bagseeds

Hey, I have about 30+seeds from some street swag shit that ive occumilated over the past year or so...Ive never been able to get any of them to germinate b4. Most are dry and cracked. Any suggestions on getting them to germinate ? I got em in some water right now...there just floating on the surface. Was planning on soaking them over night then putting them in papertowels tomorow. Whats yalls thoughts on this? I need some of thes eto germ...I know bagweed can be some dank shit when u grow it right. Let me know what you guys think plz.

Well first try to eliminate any that are damaged, look bad (white or black), or are cracked. Once you have the healthiest ones, soak them in a glass of water, when you wake up they should be at the bottom, you might have to touch them before they fall. Let them soak until you can observe it cracking, and you can see the small taproot inside. As soon as that happens, they're ready for the paper towels.

I use the soak method too. Once they crack, keep them between two moist paper towels until the tap root is at least 1/4 inch, then plant into your grow medium with the root pointing down. Once you've done that, it's time for some sunlight, or a reasonable facsimile thereof.

There isn't really anything wrong with that, but some people feel that soaking first helps to ensure that they all crack(hopefully).

I haven't tried soaking mine first, i just go straight to paper towels and it works good for me. I think that's what you should do is find what works best for you. I'd heard good things about both methods, I just happened to try PT method first and stuck with it. Good Luck.

anyone knw how long soakin takes???

You can see it crack as soon as 2 days gone by.. some can even take 10 days though. How many do you plan to grow?

Overnight is fine. No more than 12 hours.
