that chick bulb will stretch out your plants like crazy due to all the infrared light, if you need a "heat" type bulb go buy a ceramic reptile bulb that puts out just heat and no light. and yes the light from the chick light will interupt the flowering cycle and the plant won't consider it "dark" when i t is on.
with those cfls dont try to grow anything over about a foot and a half tall...i mean you can grow them taller but the whole bottom half of the plant will be stem and no bud. also keep the clfs very close throughout the grow..inches away. hopefully you're researching ALOT and not just checking this thread once in a while for directions (didn't mean to sound rude) there's TONS of info out there on these type of grows, research. start by googling "ngb grow cabinet"
I wouldn't worry about mylar...just get some flat white paint, its much easier to keep clean, and the dirtier it gets, the less light it reflects. ask ppl how easy it is to keep mylar clean..lol
*edit if yer plant is hermied, any seeds will most likely also be hermie..feminized seeds are created a lil differently.
