OK, so I'm in the process of planning out my grow for the house we will be moving into in sept.

Plan as of so far:

-2 DarkRoom grow huts the DR240 wide (3'11"x7'10"x6'7") for flowering and the DR120 (3'11"x3'11"x6'7") clones/veg.
-2 HPS 600w systems w/ E-ballasts.
-1 MH 250W or 400w (I dono yet) for the smaller room
-Oviously including all the less fun things to talk about, vet fans etc.

TBD:

- Hydro or soil?
I wanted to use the 12 unit ebb and flow bucket system they sell with blue 55 gal rez. however I would like to flower 16 plants at a time with 4 plants per group which would let me harvest 4 plants every two weeks perpetually. My problem with this is as you all know our little lady's nutient needs change as the flowering cycle progresses and well, there is only one 55 gal res which means one nute solution :?. Am I missing something?

- Brand of tent?
I want to use the darkrooms because the seem like the best . However they are a bit tall at 6'7" and I'm worryed the basement they are going in do not have ceilings this high. If once I get the chance to measure the ceilings and they are too low what other, slightly shorter brands would you recommend?

-Strains to start with?
Ak-47, Chronic, and Ice are the three I have chosen so far but I would like a fourth compatable strain. any ideas? And for that matter what are your thoughts on the three I have chosen so far? what would you pick?

I guess thats good to start with, I'm sure I'll think of more things to ask as I continue my reseach into my new setup.

Thanks in advance for the help!

P.S. please don't bother posting suggestions to DIY as far as the huts go. wile in theory I suppose I could, 1. I bet I really couldn't, at least not for the time it would take to do properly. 2. At 21 I don't own any real tools yet anyways.

:peace:

personally i would go with t5's for your veg and good choice for your bloom (600).. and in my experience, hands down i would go with either aeroponic or ebb and flow (hydro).... aero really rocks and i wish i had 1 more of em (botanicaire)

The T-5's in for veg sounds good, save some $ too.
I agree about the hydro but how do you propose getting around my little (big) nute problem w/ havesting 4 plants every 2 weeks?
