NEED HELP WITH PLANT FIRST GROW...

So this is my first grow, suppose to be Grape God, using a small 18 inch florescent fish light at the very top and two CFL(spiral florescent light bulbs), and I started flowering a week ago...I have a couple issues as you can see from the pictures. First, I'm not sure if the leave discoloration is due to the gnat infestation i had, root rot or maybe lack of nutrients or something else. Second, and more importantly I need help or ideas on how to train (or if i should even train depending on if its too late into the grow) so that i can make the plant fit in my grow area because as of right now the plant has outgrown my box i made (box is only like 47 inches tall) and its hitting the top light and i don't feel like building a new box so i was hoping to do some type of LST with like chicken wire or string or something but not sure how to do it. Anyways any help or ideas on how to train or make the plant fit better in my box would be greatly appreciated as well as any other thoughts or ideas.

First off, forget about yield. It ain't gonna happen. You need more light. Too late to really train unless you throw back into veg. But light, you need light and lots of it!

Your box isn't adding any value anyway other than holding the likely weak light. So I wouldn't worry about it. How ya gonna handle odor?

Hard to say on what is wrong. You didn't say what you are growing in, nute regiment, etc.

Don't feel bad. My first grow was worse! I yielded an eighth and hermed the plant.

Ya didn't even use nutrients and it was in miracle grow which I think caused some burn. But what kind of lights would work best to try and yield some bud?

hey teggy2, theres so many different types of setups, you really need to research it. i started using a 400w hps, now i use a combo of 125w cfl for seedlings, 400w mh for veg and then 600w hps for flowering. sometimes ill veg with the 600 as well.

Plus more light = more heat which means you will need a more closed area and exhaust anyway.

Build yourself a tent. Get 200-400 actual watts running if using CFland surround the plants with the lights as close them as possible. Or invest in HID or LED.
