I'm a, trying to start off right. I have grown before and had some success but it was all bag seed in a closet grow. It's been over a year and in that time the only thing I have salvage is a 600w winged hps light. I am looking to start off with a better system on a budget as i dnt smoke or sell i do it to supply my wife. i figure if she is going to smoke i might as well know what she is getting and no its not covered in bad chems, plus better then dealing witha corner guy. so this is what I found
Aquabuckets 5 gallon 4 site deep water culture hydro system with mixing cell and 200 mesh filter $250.00
Ecoplus commercial air 3-35 watt single outlet air pump $56
25 feet 6"duct $20
6" 240cfm air duct $30
Virtual sun vs4800-48 Indoorgrow tent $140
Co2 boost bucket $130
General hydroponic ph control kit $20
Water quality Tds tester $18
General hydroponic Flora series $37
Acurite indoor humidity monitor $10
also please let me know if I am missing anything. I was thinking of putting together my own bucket system but don't know it it will be complicated or even save money in the long wrong. Also was thinking of doing a soil grow just was always told hydroponics was better. Last I am his using all auto seeds this go around.

one huge thing... carbon filter! this is a must in home grows. also your tent will need an intake and exhaust. or you can run exaust only and leave it open... an hps in there will burn the room up.. that needs to be air cooled. also this being the first grow i think soil would do. less cash and way more forgiving to a new grower. do what you will that's my two cent. pm me if you want more help or refrences. 90% of growing is knowledge. and youll learn hands on.

Hi Kenny, I suggest you check out Ebay. They have many online hydro shops, but the one I have been using is Gotham Hydro. They have several different sizes of filters, inline fans, and ducting. I have to agree that soil is so much easier, for the beginner, than going hydro............from personal experience.........lol. Buy you a bag of Foxfarm soil. It has to be some of the best soil out there for cannibis (IMO) And you will save a lot of money for your first grow. (Hydro does produce more, quicker, but many feel the flavor is compromised in hydro)
Anyway, you look like you are on your way..............
