Hi all, first time trying dwc. I germinated 2 seeds in rock wool. I transplanted into my dwc net pots 10 days ago. I have been top watering I still don’t have roots. They are sitting on a layer of hydro ton and bottom of pot is in nutrient solution. They have both grown about 2-3 inches tall and look healthy. Should I see roots by now.. any advice would be appreciated

It will take a bit to get there.

Be careful not to drown them, best to lower water to 1-2" below the pot. Bubbles will keep the hydrotron wet.

Keep top watering till ya see roots, probably any day now

Yeah they look healthy, as bob said they do take a while as it's only seedlings, once they're out you'll know about it, be ready for fast explosive growth

next grow, try some rapid rooters instead of rockwool in DWC. i think they are much more forgiving. rockwool will have problems if too wet or too dry

good luck!
I picked some up for this time, I found the best for seedlings in rockwool myself was a spray bottle and a spray or 2 at the base of the plant was good for a day or 2.
