Need help

Something is eating the leafs of my palnt and there are these fuuny small fly things flying around

how do i kill them or get rid of them my last grow i had some fly looking bugs also but they where all in the soil and in the bottom of the pot when i empty the pots out
 
If you don't want to buy anything then use a drop of liquid soap in a spray bottle with distilled water and spray the plants twice a day. The soap breaks the water tension and drowns the bugs instead of letting them float. If you have a hydro shop near you get some neem oil or some bug-buster-o. Bug buster-o is my favorite for getting rid of bugs fast and can be used anytime in veg and flower
 
dose it burn the leafs last time i had some type of bug spray and i sparyed the palnts and they where left under the light for the rest of the day and the next day they where burned

any liquid (even plain water/mist), sprayed onto the leaves while under a bright light, will do this. Pull them off to the side for some indirect lighting after misting, or to a shaded area, until the leaves dry off from the spray.

Gnats do not have the necessary anatomical body parts to do such damage they suck the sap out of the under layer of the lead not take bite chunks out of them.

Ive had the same problem before and both time after extensive research i narrowed it down to Ph deficiency's or caterpillars. 9/10 its one of those 2.
 
i have look around form top to bottom at the plant and dont see any bug and the other plants leafs are curling could it be Ph deficiency's
 
The gnat like creatures I believe do come in the soil, I have purchased soil before and as soon as I open the bag there they are but like sutragrow said they are completly harmless just annoying as hell. What I did is got one of those fly strips and they were all gone in one day(still in the grow room but not flying around)LOL.

You're right... but I'm betting he was using a bug spray like zero tolerance that burns (due to the compounds in the spray and not from the lights) your leaves if you don't dilute it. I have to dilute my bug spray to 25% if I don't want it to burn my leaves.

If it was ph problems your leaves would probably be burning and twisting. A pic of the whole plant would help, but from your first pics I'm pretty sure the leaves are being eaten. You don't have any pets do you?
 
no not at all smoething is eating at two of my palnts the guy at the hydro store sed to buy this bug bomb thing and let it off in the room for 30 mins when the lights are off and when they come back on to turn on my fan
 
i have just check my ph and its between 6.2 and 7.0 so i dont think its that but any way i got this bug bomb thing and am going to set it off in my room
 
yeah the dude at the hydro shop sed its cool and set it off at night when the lights are off and when they come back on to turn my fan on
 
If it is indeed GNATS, an inch of sand on the top of your soil will prevent them from laying eggs, they will all be gone in a day or two
