high i am a new grower and this is my frist time and my plants are about 2ins tall and was woundering what would be best for them at this stage in growth
Any particular miracle grow? i was going to do the same, but wast sure what type, i cant be too far off with what i was thinking because you have said more or less what my intentions are with my plants.I would wait a bit longer to fertilize them, wait till there at two to three growing nodes, you can fertilze now but it needs to very weak.
I use Miracle Grow and have great success, I think people get carried away a little bit with all the different kind of fertilizers.
Make sure your lighting is good and if they are just flourescent, make sure to get them close, like 1 inch away.
You do not want to end up with a strechy plant that falls over.
Watering can be kind of tough, if you are using tap, make sure to let it sit out for 24 hours first beforing using
You want you soil to be moist but not wet, and it doesn't hurt to let it dry out in between watering.
After growing awhile you will learn to recognize what your plant requires.
Hope this helps, any more questions fire away.
Be a little more specific though in the future, it helps us help you better.

Thumbs up !On the package it usually says how much to put into a gallon of water or how much to apply per square foot.
Then it is just down to doing a little math, when you find how much is supposed to be used then for right now cut it down to 1/4 strength.
When they get older you can just use full strength.
As for soil mix, get some regular potting soil and mix a little compost and some topsoil and you are set to go. Just that easy.
Good Luck anymore fire away.
