Any person convicted of personal possession or use of marijuana is eligible for probation. The court is required to suspend the imposition or execution of the sentence. The person on probation is required to participate in an appropriate drug treatment or education program and may be required to attend a more stringent treatment program for a second offense. Persons convicted of a third or subsequent offense are not eligible for probation. Persons on probation must also submit to urine drug tests as a condition of their probation with the only exception being made for those who use marijuana under a prescription.
The penalties of possession for sale of less than two pounds of marijuana are 1.5 - 3 years in prison and a $750 - $150,000 fine. For amounts of less than four pounds, the penalties increase to 2.5 - 7 years in prison and a $750 - $150,000 fine. Possession for sale of four pounds or more is punishable by 4 - 10 years in prison and a $750 - $150,000 fine.
Production or cultivation of less than two pounds of marijuana is punishable by 9 mos. - 2 years in jail and a $750 - $150,000 fine. For less than four pounds, the penalties increase to 1.5 - 3 years in prison and a $750 - $150,000 fine. Production of cultivation of four pounds or more is punishable by 2.5 - 7 years in prison and a $750 - $150,000 fine.

i lived in phx for 8 months... dont drink and drive... they have manditory minimum sentencing which means you have to do jailtime.. i got a super extreme dui and had to do 30 days... sux balls dont drink, drive, or speed, got cameras up everywhere that give you tickets.. now that i think about it im glad as hell i moved haha

ya thanks dad glad you pointed that out because i know nobody else has ever d&d. dont talk shit when you dont know the situation because in actuality i was setup. I was seen leaving a bar and was reparking a car about 80 feet away to a parking lot so i could take a taxi cab home and not gotten my car towed. the cop pulled me over as soon as i pulled away from the meter and said i failed to signal out of the metering lane In reality he knew i had left the bar and figured i had been drinking so pulled me over making up a bs excuse and i would have gotten off but my two witnesses were also intoxicated so they threw them out as credible witnesses..
the point was that late at night they will pull you over for nothing to try and bust you for anything they will make up bullshit and search you and if they find weed your also fucked

Growing a plant, and gettting in to a 2 ton piece of metal that can move at speeds of 60+ mph drunk are two different stories. Some asshole thinking its okay to drink and drive killed my little sister. So say whatever you want about me. You don't have to feel the pain I do everyday,on Aug 15th my lil sister would of been 21 this year, killed by a drunk driver before she could drink. We will never been able to smoke pot agian. I was robbed because of drunk drivers thinking its okay to do whatever you want. It is people that drink and drive that cause my mom and father so much pain everyday, they are not the same people. I'm not whats wrong with america....

DUI laws are what's called "feel good laws" they don't prevent or stop anything. Every year more people die of drunk driving related accidents. No matter how strict these laws get the statistics show that nothing improves. It's sad but if american lawmakers were smart they would spend money on more realistic programs like free rides home. In London you can call these guys with scooters that will ride over fold up the scooter stick it in the trunk and drive you home in your car, pretty cool. So many things that the american people allow their government to do are just amazingly retarded. Economic stimulus check!!! LMFAO!! Yeah I got a blowjob from a hooker with mine what about you Joe? yeah...I think you are whats wrong with america..you are the person that reflects your personal experiences on everyone else..I feel bad for you about your sister...but I have had very close friends and family members killed by drunk drivers as well.....get over it bro. move on and seek some help if you need to. BTW...not once in my original post did I say I was all for drinking and driving. I was making the point that you dont know everything....and you shouldnt judge people based upon your own experiences.....the world and its happenings are pretty fuckin diverse....the cops arent always right in arresting someone for drinking and driving..... and again...I am still sorry to here about your sister....

while i do agree with you sort of its not that anyone is not trying to excuse their actions and not claim responsibility... yea i know i was drunk which is why i made the decision not to try and get on the road and on the highway and drive home. i cannot control the parking situation and it is not up to me where you can and cannot park your cars during certain hours... the system is set up so that people fail and can feed the beast that is our system... who would buy all those cop cars, camera/radar auto ticketers and guns without speeding tickets and duis in arizona?? i was never putting anyone in danger by literally rolling my car forward less than 200 yards going about 5 mph, but was rather selected as an easy score and one step closer to the monthly quota... the whole point of my post and this thread was to warn fellow board members of the dangers and pitfalls of arizona, and when sharing my experience was persecuted for it which caused me to have to defend myself.. there are always extenuating circumstances for different situations and if people arent there to witness every part they should judge ... ESPECIALLY when it is meant as a lesson to help someone else... catch my drift??
