need input from growers

hey all you guys and gals.
Im starting an indoor set up for the first time and I have an idea of how I want to do it but I would like some input from those with exp or those that have spent as much time as I have tralling forums.

The idea is a perpetual grow with a harvest every 2.5 - 3 weeksish, I have a couple of Reserva Prevarda OG Kush seeds that I will be playing with and here is the deal, I will be getting my hands on 1 x pc case and 1 x chest of draws.

The pc case will be stripped and retrofitted like any other pc grow cases you have seen (although I will be taking my time and doing it right the first time so there is no light leaks).

Once the pc case is ready it will be getting a 1.5L pot and 1 x 65w "green lamp" (green lamp is a brand) CLF it is a 6400k spectrum for veg putting out a modest 4300 lumens (I feel this should be enough for a mother plant) this pc box is purely to house a mother plant, once she is steady and looking healthy I will take a clone and set it in a home made clone "bubble" that I put together and it shall sit in the pc box for 2 weeks to veg (during this stage the clone will have light from the veg CFL as well as a 20w "green lamp" CLF putting out 1300 lumens at a 6400k spectrum), I fell that 2 CFLs should be enough with out any major heat issues as I will have 1 x 100mm inlet fan and 1 x 120mm outlet fan.

Once my baby has finished veg its onto the "flower cabinet", (just an fyi all of this will be 100% stealth the pc and the flower cab will be built purely around stealth, and the cabinet will be scrog) the "flower cabinet" will be set up to have 3 plants at any one time in order from left to right the further to the left the closer to harvest.

So a plant goes in and inside the cabinet/ chest of draws we will have spaced out 3 light racks on the ceiling (height adjustable) , it is just a square frame with a reflector made of gutters lined with mylar, housing (I think) 3 x 65w "green lamp" 2700k CFL pumping a nice 4300 lumens each, that means each plant will receive their own 195watts of light and 12900 lumens from each light rack.

Although the first rack will only have 2 2700k as I want a duel spectrum as not to shock the clone so it will have 1 6400k.

So to brake it down take clone, veg, plant to flower (each pot will have a scrog style frame over it to allow me to shuffle pots around freely) 2 weeks later another clone has vegged into the flower chamber, 2 weeks then another clone into the flower cabinet and then another 2 weeks and another clone is ready, the first harvest begins with the OG that's been in there for 8 weeks now.

So that my idea please ask questions give some input and ideas and so on and so forth thanks for reading (im dyslexic please excuse the grammar) the lights I will be getting can all be found here and im using the b22 basses as im in Australia http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Green-Lamp-...=p4634.c0.m322

You would get more replies if you broke that text block up into paragraphs. Maybe even a double return ;)

I can't/won't read text like that. I'd bet most people dont either.

No offense, just want you to get the answers your after.

There i broke it up a bit, and computergroove as to your comment im only after feed back on the lights as im not sure if its not enough or to much. i have cooling and smell covered with pc fans for inlet and a carbon filter as an outlet but still creating negative pressure inside the cabinet as for cooling a few well placed pc fans for circulation and the lights will all be fan cool aswell

Hello G.G. sounds like you've done a ton of research and really have ambitious plans for a first go and thats great I hope it all works out! I'm not 100% sure on your dimensions for your flowering room and it sounds like you have a understanding for lumens and Kalvin ratings which is important but just as important and highly over looked is the PAR of the light. In a nut shell PAR is how far the lumens or usable light penetrates. Unfortunately, for CFL's this is where the HPS and MH will kick the cfl in the ass. However, on the bright side since theres little heat to a cfl and there self ballasted there easy to move around. So when positioning your lights especially in your flowering room try to place your bulbs no more then 4 in. Away and be sure theres light on the side not just the top or canopy. Again not sure your exact dimensions on your flower room but for any small grow lightly depending on what strain your growing always remember more plants in the flower room does not equal more bud in the jar and for limited space growers who want to have a perpetual grow I would put more stock in my clones in veg since as you will learn are more likely to not make it for one reason or another. Usually if you make it to flowering without watering or nuteing it to death your gonna make it to harvest. So by keeping stock in multiple diffrent growth stages in veg you should be able to have guaranteed girls ready to flower obviously for your plan needing at least two plants in flowering around two or three weeks apart to meet your needs I wish your grow the best cheers!

Hey chill I appreciate the reply as of yet I still haven't moved into the new house and haven't begun my grow but im hoping to get a chest of draws roughly around 3' or 4' wide 2' -3' deep and any thing from 2' - 4' tall. As to side lighting I might have to look at some extra light for this, can you suggest a good clone set up if my idea wont surfice?

Hey G.G. I think your plan is just fine like I said a little ambitious but definitely within the realm of possible. I think your biggest challenge will be the PC case. If I understood correctly you wanted to fit a mother plant along with a clone or clones in a DIY bubble in a very small space. It will be hard keeping your mother plant in veg keeping such a short profile not that it cant be done but if possible maybe section off your dresser with a small section for your mother and use the pc case for your clones. Since you would only have one mother I would make this area like a step so to speak that way you can have two areas of flowering bud able to move from one stage to next also will help with keeping lights even across all plants. Let me see if I can draw somthing up for you.
