Need mylar or fire resistant reflective material... HELP PLEASE!!

I am using CFL so I am not too worried about fire, but i would still like to add reflective or fire resistant material to th carpet under my plants an to the walls of my closet.... any help would be appreicated on a good idea and a place to get it.... thanks

Rip the carpet up! I dont like mylar myself because it dosent insulate worth a crap, if you need insulation. I recommend Panda Film, white on one side for reflection Black on the other to stop light leaks, also the black side helps control Mlod

cover the carpet with thick plastic, not mylar. The bottom of the leaves don't need the light reflected hitting them. DUh HYdroshops? VV

You can get Mylar on ebay if you can't find it in stores around you...

i use an emergency blanket got it from walmart for like 2 bucks works good...find it in the camping section

why may i ask do you cover carpet?
im a first time grower 6 weeks from seed growing in my closet
should i cover my carpet?

I covered my carpet just to protect it...it's not a HUGE deal but just in case you get some water/ferts/soil/etc etc on it it's protected. I just put some garbage bags on the floor and taped them to the walls so they wouldn't go anywhere....
