Room is 25'x9', temp stays around 50-60 degrees in the winter. Summer it's more like 60-70 degrees.

I have two 4x4 tents set up in the room, and a big box store 70pt. dehumidifier running in there now bringing RH to 60-70%.

No problems in my current veg tent, as RH stays around 70-75% in there.

I'm concerned when I move to flower it's going to be really difficult to keep my RH down sucking humid air INTO my tent.

My price range is anything under $1000.00(or a little over if i'm just a couple hundo away from something truely worth the money that will gaurentee I won't have to worry about RH again short of the damn thing breaking :) )

Good vibes to all, keep it green and keep it mean...

You're a couple a huns from something special. Get a Santa Fe or a Quest.

Are you sealed or will you be dehumidifying the world?

Phoenix makes a good lgr model. Out of your price range.

Let me suggest a space heater set to bring room up to 80. Warmer air holds more moisture so relative humidity drops just by heating the air. Also your temperature differential is greater on the dehu coil thus pulling way more water per watt.

Not the world no, lol. I have two 4x4 tents in a 25'x9' space. The old italian guy who originally built the house used it to store and make make wine, there is even a drain in the floor. It's not as fancy as it sounds, it's basically just a cement room. There is basement style window that open and closes that I will open every once in a while to get some fresh air in there. RH in the room stays around 70% @55-65degrees with my LG big box store dehumid running constantly. I wanna upgrade : )

Right now inside my veg tent I'm running a 4'x4tube T5 fixutre, a tiny space heater set to 70degrees, and a fan. RH stays around 70%, temp is in the low 70's lights on, 70 lights off. My concern is when I'm ready to flower that I will have an issue with humidity inside my tent since I will be sucking humid air from the room into it. I need a dehumidifier in the room anyway, even if I wasn't growing, so it's definitely a worthy investment.

In all honesty I haven't done any research on the topic. That's why I joined this site. Everything I searched always sent me here anyway, figured I might as well just create an account and actually be able to ask a community that knows what the F is up.

I'll look into the Santa Fe and Quest brands. Anything in particular?

Anyone else who has any experience with heady dehumidifiers let me know!

Good vibes to all, and thanks for any replies :)

I have been thinking about heating the room too, good idea. So I might make another thread about this but....

Any suggestions for a good space heater? The room is a cement box, so I think once it heats up it should absorb a decent amount of heat, and the heater shouldn't have to work to hard. I'm not positive how hot it gets in the summer, this is my first grow in this space. I can say this, it was above 50degrees outside today and the temp in the room was 60 degrees. I know it's colder than the finished part of my basement during the summer so I am assuming it will reach around 70 degrees.

Sorry I babel sometimes, so yeah, any decent space heater recos?
