Need some advice and second opinions

Hi, I'm a first time grower and I'm a bit worried about my plant. It's been growing in a real primitive enviroment; just a simple lamp, new soil every three months (it's 7 months old now) and a little fan. I've read on many sites that it's ready to harvest when the white hairs turn red-brownish. The hairs turned into that color but I'm certain that it's not ready to harvest yet. The plant itself is small, the leaves are small and the buds are small. I've taken two pictures of it (one from the top and one from the side) and I would like your opinions. I would appreciate it very much!

7 months? Wow. Who you gonna smoke that bowl with?

You will have zilch from that. Sorry. There are so many threads here about economy equipment and grows. Lots of helpful people that will work with you to prevent this from happening again.

I knew that I wouldn't get that much from it, I just wanted to know if it is indeed ready to harvest and if this is the biggest that it would get. I was hoping that someone would say that it would get a little bigger if I waited a couple more weeks.

Brother, hit it with light and lots of it. Bloom nutes - not within a few weeks of harvest. It isn't too late. Get some shooting powder to force reflower if possible. If it works then nute her with bloom phase nutes one time. She can put on more but give her 2 more weeks with a lot of love and light. Try a single 250-watt CFL with a cheapo reflector - less than $30 if bought new. In fact others may opine but she might go another 30!

i would not give it any nutes. you will overwhelm it with just about anything

honestly it's not going to do much more than what it has. if you put it outside for a couple weeks with just some pure water, it might become more enjoyable and fatten up slightly

but it could also be like letting a bubble boy out of his bubble at a carnival

i would like to commend you for nursing that thing through it's entire life on what could be compared to an I.V.

Thanks, I'll get shopping for a better light first thing tomorrow.

It's been 12/12 for about 2 months now.

I've tried to put it outside but the thing is that I live in Belgium and the weather over here really sucks. One day it's really good but the other day it can rain like it's the end of the world. The plant itself is not so strong so I'm afraid that if it starts to rain when I leave it outside when I'm not home that it would just kill the plant. Also some of the leaves started to hang after being outside for a couple of hours on a warm day. When I put it back indoors the leaves would start to look normal again.

Thanks for your comments guy, appreciate it. but I'm realizing that it's a lost case. Gonna look into a better light as a last resort thou.

EDIT: do you guys think that it is worth harvesting if it doesn't get any bigger? To me it seems like there isn't anything to smoke growing yet but maybe I could get one joint from it?

How long do you leave the lights on for the plant are you leaving the lights on like flowering times or does the light stay on all the time? No body asked this and you didnt say i dont think what your light cycle has been.get yourself a 400 watt mh/hps if your just growing for yourself thats all you need. You will easily get a qp off a few plants under a light like that even a grower that has little expierence can do it i have seen it. Start over your in belgium so isnt it pretty easy to find some good cannabis seeds? Dont know the laws but i know some countries you can buy cannabis seeds at the gardening stores.

I first started with 16h on and 8h off. After two weeks I changed it to 20h on and 4h off. When I saw it began blooming I went to 12/12. I normally just buy my weed so it wasn't my intention at all to grow a plant. I came across a few seeds in a bag of weed that I once bought so I tried to see what it would bring. Only 1 of the 4 seeds turned out to be a female. I never thought that it would survive cause I have little to none experience so I didn't bother to buy good growing equipment (which I regret now). But I'm going to buy a stronger lamp and nutes like you guys suggested tomorrow and if this doesn't turn out to be something I can still try again. The laws about cannabis here are very vague but there are shops where you can buy seeds so I'll probably try again once I have the right stuff to bring it to a good end.

You might as well harvest it, it won't be a total loss. You'll be able to get a decent smoking session out of it at least. Just make sure you're really careful drying and curing it.
