need some advice... Don't want to do something I will later regret

so here is the situation, I am a music producer and have been making music for a while now, my record label has really teken off, I am doing the best financially right now, I just purchased a 09 range rover and I already had an escalade ext and 300c, I am a very good dresser, I like wearing suits alot so yeah I guess if u see me u will think that guy is doing good, I like the good things in life, and I'm very sorry if I'm coming off as cocky or arrogant but I want to be 100% honest so u guys can understand my situation better, so this one new rapper started coming and recording to my studio and has now become a regular, I have become buddies with him,,, so the problem is that he came to my studio and recorded a song called "home invasion" were he secretly talked shit about some other rapper, so I didn't make to much of if cause it seemed very general and not specific... So he gets his song and I get paid, good deal, so this rapper goes on myspace and releases the song, and on the song description he puts "this song is dedicated to ******" and talks alot of shit to him, so now I get a message from the rapper that was being attacked on the song, he says " oh so I see ur good friends with **** well he is making songs talking shit, so be told us he recorded the song in ur studio,,," so now this guy has a grudge on me cause the song was recorded in it studio, a few days pass and the song is blowing up, it has about .5 million plays in 3 weekS... So I guess the rapper that was being attacked in the song has a little crew, next thing u know it's 3 am and I get a phone cAll and it's this one guy talking shit saying " we know were u live, we are driving around ur neighborhood, and I'm like who the fuck is this?? This guy doesn't say his name, but he says that shit is going to happen and that they are gonna come to my house and look for me, again Im not a gang member, I have a home, got my fiancé living with me and my 2 dogs, I am also growing some white widow,, so u see I'm in a fucked up situation, I am already on the cops radar for being Italian and my parents being sicilians. I think u can imagine the attention Im getting, forthe most part I'm very calm and love to enjoy life, I don't go out looking for fights or acting like a big badass, I believe I deserve everything I have cause I have worked very hard for it all, believe me I have alot of people that are waiting in line to do my dirty work, I got people beging me to let them take care of these bums, so that isn't the problem, the problem is that these bums wud trace it back to me, and I don't want any kind of attention brought to my house, so I'm in a really hard situation, I am fettingntored of these pieces of shit calling my phone making threats, see I have alot of amazing things going on right now... I'm actually about to start shooting a movie. I will direct it and act In it.... So yeqh it's hard putting all these things in jeoperdy,,,, I just want to know wat u guys wud do, I have a grow room of about 5 plants and 5 more clones,,,, I never met these bums In my life, I have never seen them, I have never made any sort of Interaction with them besides when they call me at 3 am talking shit, they keep sending me emails and messages on myspace on facebook, I am so tempted to get these guys taken care of but I know it will just bring more problems to my house and I really don't need any stupid drama at this point in my life, so basically I'm asking u guys. Wat wud u guys do??? I know it's a very complicated situation but this forum has some very smart and wise people, I feel stupid asking but I don't know who else to talk to this about, I'm not gonna tell my girlfriend cause she will go nuts, I won't go to a shrink for obvious reasons.... I can't tell my mom or my friends cause my friends will go looking for them right away,,, this is also really testing me as a man, I sometimes wish I cud just tell these pieces of shit to meet me up sonewere and get this shit taken care of, that wud be the easiest thing to do, but I know ihave to be calm and don't do somthing stupid,, so as u guys can see I got some unwanted negative attention... This shit is driving me nuts, as a man it's hurting my pride, but I think about it all, and how much I can lose. I know they aren't worth my time and effort,, so wat do u guys say??? Wat shud I do?? I need to get rid of this problem, and nope sorry the police isn't an option, for reasons I can't discuss,

This probably won't work, but I wanna post so your thread gets bumped and maybe someone can help, but have you tried explaining this to them? Or perhaps letting then know what you're affiliated with, so they see that doing anything to you wouldn't be good for them?

Are you kidding? I know someone who dropped out of high school and never graduated high school. Fuck, my mom is about to start her third business and she doesn't have a diploma (she also beat the system and was able to start nursing college). She can't spell worth a damn, don't judge.

Oh my goodness. Stop this tree-hugging nonsense. The man can't spell...I didn't say a damn thing about his business acumen. I didn't say anything about his character, level of motivation/ambition, or ability to properly manage a company. Get over yourself. I for one don't give a shit. I know several people who own businesses...SUCCESSFUL ventures at that. Want to know the common denominator? They can all spell, and communicate there ideas seamlessly. Got it?

And I'm countering that with the fact that I know you don't necessarily have to spell right to own your own successful business. It really just depends on the business. My mom is verbally able to communicate her ideas clearly, and that's really all that matters.

I'm surprised you haven't dealt with this before if you work with a lot of rappers. They are ALL wannabe gang bangers who love to talk shit but can't back it up.

I wish the best for you freddie, but when you deal with those kinda guys, which in your business you have to, i'd say having the grow op in the same place falls under the "Don't Shit Where You Eat" kinda sorta.

If worse came to worse, maybe a lil fight broke out in the house with a couple guys, which you might seen happen already, the police might get called. And that can start a windfall of shit. With that business its hard to just get the law on your side, because they look at you like your guilty already especially being younger with the range and a nice cribbo.

Yeah most of the artists that I work with are in the hip/hop rnb genre, and yes I've had alot of people come to me offering to take care of this for me, in return for studio time and what not. But the problem I'm having is that if I go ahead and decide to give the thumbs up then most likely these bums will trace it back to me, putting my fiancé, 2 dogs, and grow in danger...

Exactly. Don't do anything. Next time they call you tell them you're not playing there bullshit games, and to quit wasting your fuckin time. If they keep it up tell them you don't want any trouble, but if trouble finds you you got a problem solving .357 with a concealed carry permit.

i think your best coarse of action is to be quite honest with the individuals who are harassing you. simply put, you were done an injustice just as the rapper who was offended suffered an injustice. maybe you could tell them that you yourself were rather shocked at the reason behind that your clients lyrics and would have never have let it happed had you known his intent. perhaps tell your adversaries that you also are pissed with your client over his hidden agenda.
