Hey everyone, so I am putting in a grow room in my closet, i just took out all the shelving, and I am starting to build the frame. Frame will be 7ft tall, by 30 in deep by 8ft wide. The closet is about 2 inches bigger on each side and 10 inches higher thank the frame.

Here are a few pics of the beginning of it.

The other side inside looks the same. I am going to have 2 rooms, 1 for mothers and cloning above the mothers on a shelf, and the veg & flower room.

I need some advice ppl please, I am going to get some panda film, and rap the entire frame in it, but what would be the best way to attach it to the PVC?

I will be venting into the attic, so ventilation will not be a problem, I have a 600w cool tube with elec ballast for the V & F room, and a 2 300w CFL and 2 150w CFL's in the mother room.

What do you think is the best way to set the filter and ducting up if I have 2 attached rooms?

Any other advice, it is welcomed. ...

thanks

Your post was kinda hard to digest, too much info scattered around. Remember, we are at least as stones as you are! Is the only Q about ducting and what's going on with two rooms again? What's the #1 problem? Then go to #2.

i dont get why you are making it all out of pvc. a wood frame would be your best bet. i would shit can that pvc and get some 2x4's and plywood. and your veg plants need to be with your mothers. the flower room is just that.

theres no problem with pvc, its not like hes goin above 150 degrees to where maybe the pvc might give off a foul odor, or mild gas.. pvc is much easier to make a nice tent out of, easier to take apart too :)

ohhh i didnt think of wrapping a tent around it. now i see what hes going for. i would just use the whole closet as the room. partition off the two areas and call it a day. put the mylar or whatever right on the wall.

yea actually thats what i was gonna say lol, i mean it would makes sense if he was making a tent HALF the size of the closet to build a frame.. but uh.. its the whole closet... so i don't see why he doesnt take some two sided tape or some 3M spray on adhesive, n just stick it to the wall like u said h8popo... (btw i hate 'em too).. cuz its not like he plans on using the pvc for support, being as it wont give any for lights.. idk.. y did u chose this method itsalways420?

think you should rethink your plan a bit... my whole setup is under a staircase. 2x4s and plywood was my best friend. if you need a shelf and what not in there, pvc isnt going to cut it. it will be weak and a rickidy p.o.s. not tryin to shit on your setup, just tryin to help ya out.

yea.. the 5.0.hater is right.. its nice to have shelvs.. home depot has got pretty nice shelves for like $8 too, the instal kit is in it n its durable n efficient for whatever u could put up there (unless ur trying to store ur dumbells on it)
