hey peoples. i am currently growing 11 seedlings and 2 clones under a 600 watt MH in a 1x1 meter grow tent. now i plan to stuff as many plants in this tent as possible and i will probably be using a scrog method.
now iv got lights and ballasts coming out my ears but im not sure what to use. someone told me to have 1 600 watt and 1 400 watt connected to the same shade (pictured). however i don't think i have a 400 watt ballast. only 600's and 1, 1000 watt. i just purchased brand new 600 watt MH and HPS and would like to maybe use both of these for flowering for maximum results. however will 1200 watt be to much light for a 1x1 grow tent. or will it be ok if i am able to keep the temperature under control. would i be better to use 2 shades or have both lights under the same shade. if i have 2 lights which are different watts or types. on different shades will this effect how the plants grow depending on what light i have them under?.
here's a list of the equipment i have.
3-4 600 watt magnetic ballasts
1 , 1000 watt magnetic ballast
1 brand new 600 HPS
1 brand new 600 MH
2 old 600 watt HPS
2 old 400 watt HPS
2 old 600 watt MH
i have 2 shades which are just under 1 meter long and 2 smaller shades about half a meter long. and all the lamps and hooks and chains you could need.
