they drain and dry faster which in turn helps u pump them full of nutes more often. "more waterings" plus im not sure how they root system grows but it gets massive way faster than the plastics do. i think it has to do with the drainage and the fact that the roots grow outward and not straight down and then curl like the plastics do. once the root tip touches the edge of the fabric pot it burns off and dies from the air. its kinda like topping ur plant. u cut the top off all the other branching explodes. same concept with the roots so to speak. ill look up the exacts and post them tomorrow. ill try to post a link.
ok thanx i cn see now the how they work a wide bae will creat a wide bushy plant and the roots grow so fast and big because they are searching for water so they dig deeper faster do to the quick drying dirt i have also heard of root trimming the edes to encorage new growth just never tried it it sounds a little risky i will def have to look in to these pots on my next grow thanx again

curious about topping a plant for cloning purposes, if say you wanna increase the amount of clones you can pull from a plant you can also top some of the lower and middle branches to create more growing nodes correct? And also I heard another grower talkin bout this and wanted to ask if anyone had ever tried it to take a plant that is ready to flower cut several 4" clones, root them then after about 2 weeks and the clones r rooted u put them right into 12/12 for about 10 weeks then harvest. Do you think that would just lower ur overall yield by cutting them into clones rather than just flowering the whole plant?
