Need some advice

i have ten seeds, germed them, but only one sprouted a tail, i am really mad about having one seed sprout a white tail, as i was expecting more then one to work.

I planted the seed in a cup with some soil i got from my vegetable garden, growing veggies in the garden for 2 summers now. I planted the seed two days ago and watered it twice already, and it has not sprouted.
I am currently keeping it in my house till i can grow it outside, as i have some wicked fields nearby that i can grow in.

Would like some feedback from you pro's out there, TY for any help given

How old are the seeds? They should all germinate, but keep in mind that they may germinate at different rates. One may germinate right away while the others may take a few days -- provided you have used the appropriate technique to germinate them.

Also, when you planted it, how gentle were you with the seed, and how far down did you bury it? There are so many variables that I really cannot go through them all. It's more or less an experience thing.

Either way, just have patience. Keep the plant's soil moist, but don't over water it. Also, if you can, keep it in direct sunlight or a HID light, such as a HPS or MH or 400+ watts.

Hi,

My first question to you is why did you hijack someone else's thread regarding a totally different subject for your own needs?

Second, yes, it's not going to kill them. As long as you maintain a steady temp during the "day" for them, a temp drop at night is actually beneficial for them.

Next time, please have the courtesy to start your own thread.

i did it the same way the site showed,

i did the first five seeds, waited a day, they did not sprout, but i planted them like 4 days ago, and they havent sprouted, seeds where a light green colour, dont know if thats good or not?

i germed the next five seeds, within a day one sprouted a white tail, and i planted it, and watered it twice in two days, the other four have been germing for 2 days.

i planted the one seed, by pushing in half my index finger in the middle of the soil, then i took a thumb tack, and picked it up by lifting the thumb tack against the inside of the seed, then drop it into the hole and buried it.
