Please see the pics below and see if I am correct that I have some males in my garden...I noticed there were 3 girls that looked odd...after another week i saw these little things growing out of there nodes...I came to the conclusion that these bastards were male.

Can you guys please confirm.

Furthermore, I am in vegg @ 18/6...these bastards dont polinate until lights flip at 12/12 right? Im just making sure i have my facts straight.

Please advise. Thanks.

I see pistils growing from both plants. The things in the nodes ... do you mean primordia (preflowers)? They're normal, and female. cn

Are you absolutely sure? Im in 18/6 right now and i do not want to risk pollinating my females...is this normal preflowers? these lil "sacs" located at the nodes (where stem meets the trunk) look like seed sacs...

sorry for the question...just dont want to risk polination nor do i want to cut them down if i do not have to. the growth pattern is different from the females around it as well...could these be hermes??

They are seedsacs of a sort, but they're definitely female. Male primordia look "nutty" (tree nuts, not trouser nuts) and don't have pistils. You're safe. Here are male primordia. cn

Thanks for the info cannabineer...do you have any idea what causes a strain to do this?

Yup, those. Primordia and female. I still call safe. cn

<add> Every strain I've grown does that. I've not seen a femme without. Some phenos show them later than others, but it's a general characteristic of hybrid weed. cn

just out of curiosity, am i correct when I say, "Male plants do not pollinate in 18/6 light period...they only pollinate at 12/12 or flowering stage"

I'm not dead certain, but my strong suspicion is "that's not correct". If a male grows flowers at all, they'll ripen. But if you keep it in veg, it won't flower.

I don't know if male preflowers would mature in veg. cn
